Once Human boasts of a variety of quests that end in rewarding the player with some great loot. One such quest is the On Joy And Sorrow; which begins with an interaction with a fortune teller and ends at the top of Fort Eyrie Base. Once Human On Joy And Sorrow Walkthrough
While the On Joy And Sorrow mission requirements suggest Level 25, ideally you need to be on Level 45 in Once Human to ace this quest smoothly. If you are still at a lower level, it is recommended to have Tier V gear.
On Joy And Sorrow Quest Location In Once Human
You can unlock the On Joy and Sorrow Quest in Brewery Estate which is a Level 30+ area in Once Human. If you are at the recommended level we advised, you can easily get started on this mission by spawning through the Teleportation Tower nearby. Here, you will find the Fortune Teller, dressed in mysterious black robes.
The second phase of the quest takes place in Fort Eyrie in Red Sands which is a Level 45 area lurking with Vulture Bandits.

How To Complete On Joy And Sorrow Quest In Once Human
After you have teleported to the Brewery Estate, you will come across a Fortune Teller in the farmland of Brewery Manor, upon interaction with her you will be asked to pay her with three pieces of crops/plants to reveal your fate. Now, you can pay her with any crops that you have in your inventory. There is no specific crop requirement at this step and it won’t change the prophecy she has for you.
After you have paid with the crops, the Fortune Teller will ask you if you wish to hear the good news or sad news first. Again, you have the liberty to choose either of the options first, it won’t affect the quest line. After the dialog exchange, you will be handed a key that will unlock further guidelines of the quest.
Now, you need to head to Fort Eyrie in Red Sands for phase 2 of this mission. The rest of the quest is quite straightforward, taking down the bandits and climbing through the ladders to reach the top of Fort Eyrie. While you can take the ulterior route, through tunnels to reach the top, however, this will make the ascend quite challenging for you.
While you are following the instructions, you can clear mini tasks such as hunting for the mystical crate, activating Rift Anchors, and finding weapon and armor crates for additional rewards and resources while exploring.
Finally, you will find the Fortune Teller’s Loot Crate in Fort Eyrie, and interact with it to claim the rewards.

After you have successfully claimed the Fortune Teller’s Loot Crate, you will be rewarded with the following items:
