If you’ve made it some ways through the Hellraiser Revival campaign, you’ll be pretty well acquainted with the monster known as Charlotte. You’ll have endured a terrifying chase scene, and a tense stealth area into the bargain.
Now, it’s time to fight back. After gathering all the statue parts, and gaining a new fire-based box Genesis Configuration power, you’ll now be able to take on Charlotte.
It’s a tricky fight, but one that can be won consistently if you use everything that’s around you to your advantage. Here’s how you should go about it.
How To Prepare

Before you go into this fight, you should have your inventory as stacked as possible. Which is very easy to do considering how packed the immediate area is with helpful resources. So, take some time before you engage with the photograph near the tree to ransack the area, because as soon as you look at the altar near the hanging man, the fight begins.Â
Here is the ideal inventory Loadout that we would suggest to take on Charlotte:
- Shotgun (Full Choke + Dragon’s Breath)Â
- Pistol (Heavy Grain Bullets + Extended Mag +Rifled Barrel)Â
- MedkitÂ
- 2x BandagesÂ
- SMG (Supersonic Bullets)Â
- RevolverÂ
- AmmoÂ
For this fight, melee is largely unhelpful outside of a few mob enemy encounters. You want to rely on your weapons here, so bring as many weapons as you can, bring enough health items to keep you going, and leave anything like Repair Kits, Lockpicks or Melee Weapons in storage.Â
How To Beat Charlotte

After inspecting the hanging man’s altar, enemies will swarm on your position, but will soon be mowed down by two cop cars, with officers who will proceed to kill all the enemies. You can save your bullets for now. After this, Charlotte appears, naturally kills them all, and the fight begins.Â
The key to winning this fight is using fire above all else, as this is her weakness. You’ll want to use your suffering powers to take fire from hanging light sources and then cast fire on Charlotte. This will incapacitate her for a while and allow you to get some shots in.Â
You should also try to save your shotgun shots for when she is not on fire, as Dragon’s Breath shots will ignite her again and deal solid damage.

Then, lastly in terms of your offense, you should also know that inside the trunk of both Police Cars is a fuel canister, which you can use to douse the arena in fuel. Not to mention, you can shoot the cars to cause an explosion and ignite Charlotte that way as well.Â
But, at times, you will need to play defense. When she is not on fire, she will usually run at you as she did during those chase scenes, and a well-timed evade will stop this. But, you can also stagger her with shots or fire.Â
It’s also a good time to mention that there are bear-traps dotted around the ground that will slow you down, and you can also be set on fire as well. These factors are honestly more deadly than Charlotte is, so try your best to avoid these hazards as you go.Â

Eventually Charlotte will take to the cliffs and will spawn a series of mob enemies, including some exploding blue enemies. Focus on taking these out from range first, then take out the more standard melee attackers. Then turn your attention to the cliff peak above your head. Charlotte will keep lobbing blue projectiles at you until you time a shot that explodes one as she’s about to throw it, so do this to get her back down.Â
From here, you’ll need to fight her alongside a series of mob enemies, but she should be nearly down, so try to focus the offense mostly on her. Then, when she glows blue, you’ll gain her heart, as well as Charlotte’s Crown, a valuable that can be sold for a pretty penny.Â
