How To Use Buddha’s Eyeballs In Black Myth Wukong
Collecting all six Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth: Wukong will allow you to access a secret boss called the Shigandang. But in order to start this fight you will first have to defeat the Fright Cliff boss called the Stone Vanguard which is found near the Rockrest Flat shrine.
Once you have defeated Stone Vanguard, go back to the boss arena and look for a giant stone boulder. It should be on the left side of the arena as you enter it, walk up to it and it will prompt a “Deliver” option. Choose to deliver the Buddha’s Eyeballs and this will now resurrect the rock monster known as Shigandang.
This is a slow yet mighty boss that can pack a real punch if you get hit by it. However, it has a basic moveset with mostly slamming attacks that can be read easily to dodge in time and it shouldn’t be too difficult to beat it. Watch out for its attack that causes spikes to come up from the ground, staying behind it is the best strategy for this boss fight.
You will also need to time your jumps when it does the earthquake attack. This attack can be read by its glowing orange fists and once you see that, get ready to jump the quakes. This is a considerably forgiving boss fight seen as you have a shrine very near to it allowing you to rest and replenish your health, mana, and skills right before the fight. Even losing during the fight means you can just start it right back up again since you will spawn on the nearby shrine.
Rewards On Collecting All Buddha’s Eyeballs
On defeating Shigandang, you can craft The Cloud Patterned Stone Staff at any Keeper’s Shrine; which increases the damage done through charged heavy attacks.
You also get the following rewards:
- Experience x1652
- Will x1355
- Silk x3
- Mind Core x1
- Skandha of Feeling
- Heart of Stone x1
Skandha of Feeling is a rare key item that makes this secret boss fight worth doing. It is one of many other Skandha items in the game that require unconventional methods to get such as fighting secret boss fights like the Shigandang.
