Every layer of Ultrakill ends with a climactic final fight, and Fraud is no different. Every stage has been topsy-turvy, and you should expect the same from 8-4, Final Flight.
Like the Leviathan fight, Geryon will force you to adapt to a new, hostile environment, but as long as you keep mobile, you’ll earn your sky legs.
Let’s go over exactly how to take on Fraud’s Final Boss, getting you ready for Ultrakill’s next update and one P-Rank closer to our final Prime Sanctum.
How to reach the Final Boss in Ultrakill

8-4 starts with a small keyhunt, opening in a small wooden shack. Start by following the path, walljumping up a ladder to reach the second floor. Once you’ve reached the top, take a right and head through the kitchen.
On the other end is a bathroom with four open stalls, and a Blue Skull half-submerged in a toilet. Take it and retrace your steps to right after the ladder.
Take the left path upwards to find the Blue Pedestal, unlocking a door and leading directly to the Red Skull.
This will deposit you right after the ladder again. You’ll want to take the door beside the staircase, leading downwards. At the bottom of the spiral is a crossroads of doors. Instead of taking any, turn right to find a turbine with a Red Pedestal beside it.

Place the Red Skull to power on the turbine, allowing you to ascend further. Continue through the door and the spiraling passage after to find a terminal beside an elevator.
You know what a random terminal means! Prep your best weapons for air to air combat before stepping inside and hitting the button.
Geryon, Watcher of the Skies

Geryon’s battle takes place in freefall; luckily, V1 has special movement options for just such an occasion. Holding Left Shift will quicken your fall, to a point, while holding space slows your descent.
This is entirely used for dodging attacks, and three Virtues will appear to help you catch your bearings. Afterwards, a wave of three Providences will arrive, further testing your movement and droping healing orbs to grapple to.
- These healing orbs will be your best chance at healing during the actual Geryon fight, so note their locations when each dies.
- Each Providence orb heals V1 to full, so play loose with your HP if you’re feeling confident.
Once the Providences fall, Geryon appears, and the battle starts in earnest.
Geryon’s Moveset

Geryon has a few attacks, each of which is enough to require your full attention.
| Attack | What does the attack do? | What should you do against this attack? |
| Providence Rush | Geryon’s most common attack. A flurry of pink projectiles that spawn beams in four cardinal directions before spinning. | Each projectile fly and twist like Providence’s, aim for corners and keep moving along the consistent patterns. |
| Virtue Volley | Geryon looks up before firing a volley skyward. These beams will then come down in a flurry, with warning markers on the ground like Virtues. | Look for open areas, use your air dashes to keep out of danger zones. |
| Magenta Rings | Geryon fires off three rings, top, middle, and bottom. | The sequence is randomized, but they’ll always come one after another. Manipulate your fall speed to dip between the openings. |
| Sapphire Beams | Blue beams fire from Geryon in a 1-2-3 spread. | Play at a range so the beams have time to separate, and you have time to fit between them. |
| Emerald Barrier | If approached, Geryon will retaliate with a green shield, throwing V1 back and dealing decent damage. | Stay at range and pepper Geryon with your long-range weapons. The Rocket Launcher and Alternate Pistol are great choices from this distance. |
Tips to Defeat Geryon

Each of Geryon’s attacks will fill his Overheat bar beneath his HP. Once the Overheat bar is full, Geryon will be stunned for around 5 seconds. While stunned, Geryon’s heart is exposed and can be attacked for plenty of blood.
This is your major DPS window, dump your Railgun, fire off some Nailgun barrages, and make the most of it before backing off again.
Keep a safe distance, keep moving, and before long Geryon will fall, permanently. That leaves one more layer, Treachery, but that’s a story for another update.
