Where To Find Rusted Gear & Sentinel Firing Core in ARC Raiders

Crafting Legendary and Epic weapons in ARC Raiders is a goal every player strives for. To unlock this ability, you’ll need to upgrade your Workshop Station from Gunsmith 2 to Gunsmith 3. However, this upgrade requires three Rusted Gears, four Sentinel Firing Cores, and five Advanced Mechanical Components. While Advanced Mechanical Components are fairly easy to obtain, Rusted Gears and Sentinel Firing Cores can be trickier to spot. In this guide, we’ll show you the best ways to get those materials.

To get Rusted Gears in ARC Raiders, head over to the Parking Garage on the Buried City map and loot all the cars present there. There are plenty of abandoned vehicles in this location, and there is a high probability you’ll find Rusted Gears in one of these cars.

Do note that there will be enemy units in this area, so whenever you find a Rusted Gear, keep that in your safe pocket. Other locations suitable for finding Rusted Gears are the Vehicle Maintenance building in the Spaceport map and the underground parking lot south of the Warehouse Complex in the Blue Gate map.

But you’ll have to travel more to loot on these maps. The best option remains the Parking Garage in Buried City, as it has many cars in close range.

How to get Sentinel Firing Cores in ARC Raiders

To get Sentinel Firing Cores in ARC Raiders, find and destroy the Sentinel Turrets. But defeating these enemy units is the tough part. They are durable, and if you fire at them, they’ll quickly track you and fire lethal shots.

When preparing to take on a Sentinel Turret, make sure to bring heavy firearms and position yourself near solid cover. Use that cover to shield yourself from its powerful attacks while continuously firing whenever you get the chance.

Be alert, as other players are likely to be in the area too. You’ll have to fend off both the durable Sentinel Turret and enemy players at the same time to obtain Sentinel Firing Cores. The most common spots you can find a Sentinel Turret are mentioned below:

Blue Gate map: Found at Pilgrim’s Peak and north of the Outer Gates.

Spaceport map: Located at the North Trench Tower, Control Tower A6, and Container Storage area.

Do note that other players can destroy Sentinel Turrets before you and obtain Sentinel Firing Cores. So, try to head over to the locations quickly while avoiding other players.

Once you have all three components, you’ll be able to upgrade Workshop Station to Gunsmith 3. This was everything you needed to know about how to find Rusted Gears and Sentinel Firing Cores in ARC Raiders.
