The process is a bit convoluted, and there are certain dialogues that are highly required to trigger the next set of lines. Silk and Spitefulness achievement: Fulfill the Prophecy “Silk and Spitefulness”. Here, you must complete Arachne and Athena’s prophecy.
We have mentioned the dialogue ID of each dialogue, encounter details of the specific character name and their locations, and additional details of some dialogue trigger requirements. The trophy requires you to have unlocked certain dialog, and reached a specific relationship status in your previous runs and encounters with Arachne and Athena, to then trigger the right set of dialog to progress.
Dialogue #1:
“Should I have held back? When I was challenged by the gods themselves? To decide who was the greatest weaver of all. I was just a mortal girl. Can you imagine the pressure?”
- Trigger Requirement: Talk to Arachne in Underworld Run, and you will eventually get the line. Progress sufficiently in Arachne’s relationship to trigger the dialogue.
Dialogue #2:
“My friend, I truly hate to ask, but you don’t suppose… knowing your craft, you don’t suppose there might still be some way to turn me back into myself again, do you?”
- Trigger Requirement: You will need to encounter Arachne in the Underworld Run with the previous dialogue “ArachneAboutPride01” (Dialogue #1) + Arachne Friendship 3 with “ArachneGift03”
Dialogue #3:
“Headmistress, there must be something we can do for Arachne. Her curse torments her. What use is our craft if we cannot ease a friend’s suffering?”
- Trigger Requirement: Talk to Hecate in the Hub; it requires the previous dialogue (Dialogue #2).
Dialogue #4:
“You are preoccupied with that Arachne’s curse! I know about it, yes. The remedy is no straightforward feat.”
- Trigger Requirement: Encounter Hecate as a boss in the Underworld Run. requires the (Dialogue #3)dialogue from the previous conversation with Hecate at the Hub.
Dialogue #5:
“Arachne, I… I wasn’t entirely forthright with you before, about your curse. Theoretically, there is a way that it can be undone. But it is unlikely to work, and shall be very dangerous.”
- Trigger Requirement: On your encounter with Arachne in the Underworld Run, you will need both (Dialogue #2) + (Dialogue #4)
Dialogue #6:
“Can you help me discover who created Arachne’s curse, if it wasn’t Athena herself?”
- Trigger Requirement: You must talk to Hecate in the Hub. This dialogue requires (Dialogue #4)
Dialogue #7:
“Concerning your companion Arachne and her curse: Against my better judgment… I’ve done some searching and have knowledge of the one who fashioned the poison.”
- Trigger Requirement: Talk to Hecate in the Hub with (Dialogue #5) with Hecate Friendship at 3 with “HecateGift03”

“Regarding your curse, Arachne… The headmistress discovered who created it. So, if you require closure on this aspect of your life… come visit at the Crossroads. But, such knowledge may be a curse all its own, so… choose carefully, please.”
- Trigger Requirement: On your encounter with Arachne in Underworld Run, you will need two dialogue entries: (Dialogue #7) and (Dialogue #5)

- Trigger Requirement: Encounter Arachne in the Underworld Run, needs the previous dialogue entry (Dialogue #9)
Dialogue #11 “ArachneAboutCurse05”:
“Arachne, we need to talk about what happened with Headmistress. She didn’t fashion a poison expressly to ruin your life. She didn’t even know you at the time.”
- Trigger Requirement: Encounter Arachne in the Underworld Run, requires the previous dialogue entry (Dialogue #10)
Dialogue #12:

“Lady Athena, by your leave… we have a mutual acquaintance I would ask about, because… well… do you recall the weaver Arachne?”
- Trigger Requirement: Encounter Athena in the Surface Run with two previous dialogue entry requirements (Dialogue #4) and Athena Friendship 2.
Note: You must encounter Athena on Surface Run after the City of Ephyra boss fight, which could be at Stage 2 or 3.
Dialogue #13:
“The mortal woman called Arachne. Have you any idea what she did? She fancied herself the greatest weaver in the world; superior even to me, if not the Fates themselves. Is it not our obligation, then, to remind mortals of their place?”
- Trigger Requirement: Needs an encounter with Athena either at the Underworld or the Surface run (both of them are possible). The dialogue requirement entries are (Dialogue #12) with Athena Friendship 3.
Dialogue #14:

“Your thoughts about Arachne are causing you distraction, which in turn is causing me distraction now. I would propose a means by which we could put this matter with her to rest.”
- Trigger Requirement: Just as in the last encounter with Athena, here the same rule follows. Needs an encounter with Athena, either at the Underworld or the Surface run (both of them are possible).
- Requires the dialog entries: (Dialogue #13), (Dialogue #11) and Athena Friendship 5
Dialogue #15:
“Arachne, now that we know Headmistress Hecate had a hand in your curse, there is some possibility we can persuade Athena to undo it. Or rather, you could.”
- Trigger Requirement: On your encounter with Arachne in Underworld Run, you will need two previous dialogue entries: (Dialogue #11) and (Dialogue #14)
Dialogue #16:

“I have Athena’s Amulet, Arachne. Would you be willing to confront her now? Just speak to how you’ve changed, how you wish to have your old self back! Whatever she requires.”
