The Pimpillo Tool in Hollow Knight: Silksong is a volatile material that can either explode on impact with enemies or when manually ignited by its fuse. It’s a handy tool to deal with the variety of enemies that you’ll face during your journey through the Kingdom of Pharloom. The route for this Tool is similar to where the Wisp Thicket is located, with minor differences. Here’s how you can identify and craft the Pimpillo Tool easily.
How to Get the Pimpillo Tool In Silksong
The Pimpillo Tool is located to the far left at the top inside the Greymoor area in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Begin at the location as shown on the map above. This is the area beside the Bench at Halfway Home, so make sure to Fast Travel there.
Once you’re there, use the platforms above you to climb up, then continue gliding left. You’ll eventually come across more wooden platforms on the far left of the area, along with some flying enemies. Check your map to locate yourself near Bellhart.
From the wooden platforms with the flying enemies, drop down below, and you’ll notice an opening to the left, which will take you back to the last area. Head through this entrance and proceed forward.
As soon as you enter the next location, start climbing up with the help of the small wooden platforms. You’ll eventually notice a giant spinning wheel with spiked wheels attached to it, along with small platforms above it. Climb up further by jumping up from the platforms, to the left.
As you climb up, you’ll notice a second giant spinning wheel with spiked wheels on it. Climb onto the small platform, just below the second giant wheel, then jump down onto another platform located to the bottom left. Here, you’ll find the opening to the next location.
After entering the new area, you’ll face an enemy with a spiky weapon that you can avoid or defeat for some Rosaries on the left. Defeat the enemy or jump over it, then keep going left.
Continue left, and you’ll come across two platforms located diagonally to each other. Jump on these platforms and proceed forward. You’re almost at the Pimpillo Tool.
From the second platform, jump to the platform above at the top left, then use your Cling Grip ability on the wall and jump on the platform to the right.
From that platform, you’ll notice a narrow opening above you. Climb up the opening, break the blockage at the top, then proceed to the next area. You may also collect the Frayed Rosary String just below the blockage to the right before you continue.
In the next small area, turn right and you’ll find a table with red cloth and some incendiary materials to create the Pimpillo Tool. You’ll then be asked to construct the tool, and after a short cutscene featuring Hornet crafting it, you’ll obtain the Pimpillo Tool in your inventory.
