The elevator is broken, and it is our job to fix it! The Repair-Matic elevator puzzle in FNAF Secret of the Mimic contains a few steps that might get confusing at times, from removing the item stuck between the gears to aligning and rebalancing the load weight. This guide will show you exactly how to get the elevator up and running in no time!
Getting Inside The Elevator
Getting inside the elevator is pretty easy, the voice through the speaker will guide you exactly how to do it. If you’re still having issues, here’s a comprehensive guide on how to open the elevator shaft.

First open the Repair-Matic box. Then, turn off the power and remove the object stopping the gears from spinning on the elevator. Rotate the handle all the way to the right, clockwise, to open the elevator. Once it’s set to the right, press the green button that says ‘Open Hatch’. You can now safely enter the elevator by crouching.

Once you’re in, you’ll notice that the levers are out of alignment. It is our duty to get it back in place to make sure that the elevator is working again. Before you start aligning the elevator, make sure that the ‘Emergency Brake’ is on. The voice will instruct you to use the sliders to rebalance the load weight. This is pretty simple. When adjusting, make sure that the small cylinder is aligned with the blue area on the scale to the left. If you’ve done it correctly, it’ll turn on the light for each of the alignments.
Once all the alignments are done, you’ll need to input a code. The code is 1 4 3 2. Just follow where each of the wires goes from the numbers on the panel and press the corresponding red button to input it!
Change the emergency brake’s position back to ‘Off’ and head out of the elevator. Press the red button that says ‘Close Hatch’ and reset the crank by turning the handle all the way to the left, counterclockwise. Turn the elevator back on by turning on the power, and you have successfully repaired the elevator!
