How To Breed Animals In Tiny Pasture

Tiny Pasture is a unique game where you are in charge of a farm and take care of animals during your leisure time. What makes it interesting is that this game can be accessed right on your desktop, and you can play the game while working on something else simultaneously. While the game may seem pretty simple, there is a lot to do and tons of activities to take part in. One such task you can pick up is to breed animals, and this guide will explain how to do just that in Tiny Pasture.

How Animal Breeding Works in Tiny Pasture

You have to do a lot more work in your Tiny Pasture to make sure your farm is in top condition. One of the features you should look out for is to collect new animals of different rarities and colors. The higher the rarity and the more unique your animal is, the better the income you get from your farm. The only way this is possible is to breed two animals to get a unique combination. But before we get into that, you need to unlock a certain facility.

How To Get & Use The Mystery Curtain Facility

The Mystery Curtain Facility enables you to place two of your animals to breed and collect a new animal for your farm. You can purchase this facility from the Facilities option under the Shop menu. It will cost 8,000 coins to purchase the base, then upgrade it using more coins. Once you load back into your farm, you will notice a new option when you press the Home icon on the sidebar. You can click the Breeding option to start the process through there, or go to Facilities > Mystery Curtain > Breed.

Whichever option you choose, you will get a new menu where you can add two animals of the same type and place them in the breeding slot. You will also get the outcome of the offspring, which can help determine if you want to select the offspring’s color or add a name. Whichever option you pick, once you confirm it, the process of breeding will start.

Note: Once two animals are sent to the Mystery Curtain Facility, they will disappear once the breeding process is completed, leaving behind just the offspring. Also, there is a cooldown period after the Mystery Curtain has been used before it can be used again. Upgrading the Mystery Curtain will reduce the cooldown.

    How Breeding Rarity Works

There are different tiers to each animal that you own, and you can combine two different rarity animals to get a higher rarity offspring. The maximum rarity an animal can get is Tier 5, but you need to work on your lower tier animals first. Below is the conversion table to get a higher tier animal via breeding.

    • 1 Tier + 1 Tier = 3 Tier
    • 1 Tier + 2 Tier = 3 Tier
    • 3 Tier + 3 Tier = 4 Tier
    • 3 Tier + 4 Tier = 4 Tier

If you notice the conversion, there is no Tier 5 offspring. Breeding two Tier 4s will not give you a Tier 5 animal. 5 Tier animals are the highest tier and are considered as Rainbow Animals, lets see how to get your hands on one of these.

    How To Get Rainbow Animals

To get 5 Star animals or Rainbow Animals, head over to the shop, pick the animal you wish to own a Tier 5 of, then select 5-Star rarity while selecting the Buy Continuously option to start the reroll process. This will require tons of coins, so make sure you save up. While rerolling, your coins will get deducted till you get a 5 Tier rarity animal.

Once you get a Rainbow Animal, you can create more of them via breeding. You require at least one 5 Tier animal and combine it with any tier of the same animal. Send them off for breeding and select the skin color when the option appears. Since one parent is a Rainbow Animal, you can pick the rainbow coloring for your offspring.

Benefits of Rainbow and Baby Animals

The only downside to breeding is that the parent animals will leave the farm. But offsprings have a higher capacity to store and generate coins. Since offsprings are at higher rarity always, they tend to produce more coins passively. Rainbow animals are the best ones to have, as they give out huge bonuses in cash while placed at your farm. It is always recommended to own several Rainbow Animals so you can passively earn large amounts of coins to help you progress through the game.

If you are looking for ways to switch between pastures in Tiny Pasture, this guide will give you all the information that you need to know.
