The new purple star system in No Man’s Sky Worlds Part 2 brings in a lot of new features that haven’t been seen before. All New Technology Upgrades in No Man’s Sky
To find all the new technology available in the Worlds Part 2 update, you need to head over to the Space Anomaly and visit the marketplace at the very back of the space station. You can interact with the many terminals here to check out what’s new in terms of gear, ship, and exosuit upgrades. Below are some of the new technology upgrades added to the Worlds Part 2 update.
Dredging Laser
Terrain manipulator for the Submarine Exocraft, which can excavate underwater terrains. This comes in handy while exploring the underwater biomes, making it easier to navigate tougher terrains. This technology is unlocked by talking to Iteration: Perses at the Exocraft Research terminal.
Cost: 390 Nanites
Mineral Processing Rig
Suited for the Colossus Exocraft, this technology can be used as a refiner. Unlike normal refiners, the Mineral Processing Rig can take in around 3 inputs without hassle. You can simultaneously refine items while using the Exocraft. Again, you can collect this technology from Perses.
Cost: 480 Nanites
Mounted Flamethrower
If you use Exocrafts that utilize weapons very frequently, then you will require the Mounted Flamethrower for it. So now you can toggle between three weapons on your Exocraft, giving you more flexibility in dealing damage in close quarters. Talk to Perses to collect this blueprint as well.
Cost: 480 Nanites
Pressure Membrane
Now, we move on to the Exosuit upgrades, and the most important one is the Pressure Membrane. With this, you can survive high pressure environments as your exosuit will have reinforced protection and efficiency. Speak to Iteration: Selene at the Exosuit Research station to unlock the blueprint.
Cost: 320 Nanites
Exocraft Summoning Unit
By installing this upgrade, you can call forth your Exocraft from the Exosuit menu and it will be teleported to your immediate location. It doesn’t matter where your Exocraft is in the universe, as long as it is linked to your suit, you can summon it. You can collect this blueprint from Selene.
Cost: 640 Nanites
Nutrient Ingestor
You can now improve your exosuit’s performance by applying the Nutrient Ingestor, which will automatically consume ingredients and dishes rationed to the suit. This is an automatic feeding unit equipped for your suit without the hassle of manual assignment of consumables. Selene will have this blueprint for you.
Cost: 350 Nanites
