Marvel Rivals brings back all your favorite characters as they fight to be the best of the best. If you prefer playing as a Duelist, then you would have had your eyes on Black Widow for a while now. Her skillset is unique, as she can play in both melee and ranged, making her an apt character for close, mid, and long range attacks. But you need to find a proper ground to utilize her abilities, as things can quickly get complicated if you don’t have a grasp of her skills. This guide covers everything there is to know about Black Widow in Marvel Rivals.

Black Widow is a 4-Star Duelist or DPS character, so you can select her if you are looking for someone who can aggro targets and deal just enough damage to make it to the leaderboard ranking. Her skills and abilities are a mixed bag, so you have to quickly assess the situation and use her skills accordingly. We will detail her moveset and how to play as Black Widow below.

How To Play As Black Widow In Marvel Rivals

Black Widow is a mixed bag when you take a look at her skills. If you are looking for a versatile DPS character, then utilizing her will be your best bet. Not only can you use her ranged gun attacks, but she is also skilled at using her melee Baton. But she is a static fighter, as mobility isn’t her strong point. Your best use of her is to keep her still at a high vantage point and shoot at enemies from afar. You can consider her more of a support character rather than someone who can push the frontlines.

What makes the Black Widow challenging is her low health and stamina. She does not have or offer any healing abilities, and her Fleet Foot will suck up most of her stamina. But if you are looking to bridge the gap between you and your target, then this ability will do just that. Follow that up with Edge Dancer for a powerful launch kick, and use the secondary ability that comes along with this.

When it comes to pairing Black Widow with the other characters, other duelists like Hawkeye, Hela, Iron Man, The Punisher, or Scarlet Witch are the best for her. They will help provide the proper defense for her long-range attacks and can protect her from oncoming attacks. Or you can use her alongside healing Strategist characters like Mantis, as Mantis can provide what Black Widow lacks. Since Black Widow’s ability pool is quite limited, she won’t survive as a solo character, but will thrive in a team.

From the roster of Marvel Rivals, another hero to consider is Captain America. If you are looking for tips on how to play as Captain, you should check out our guide on this.
