Playing as Captain America is pretty straightforward, and he is quite easy to manage. Get in the front lines and deal as much damage with your shield as you can. Also, use your shield to protect yourself and use the downtime to heal or offer support to your team. The only drawback to using Captain is that his attacks don’t land as hard as other melee-focused characters, he fares better if paired up. Pair yourself up with any Duelist or Strategist characters to help them land some hits. If you are looking for a powerful Tank combo, Captain America with Groot will do quite well.
The point of using Captain America is not to climb up the leaderboards, but to create that space required for your team so they can push forward and get the upper hand. While he may not be the best as a DPS character, his high health and movement speed are great for support, defense, and being a team player.
