The latest Citadelle Des Morts map is finally here in BO6 Zombies, and there are a lot more secret missions and Easter Eggs to find. You can also unlock 4 new weapons called the Wonder Swords, and each sword has a different element attached to it. But unlocking it is not the easiest, as there are quite a few steps to it. And that is why we have put up this simple guide on how to collect and upgrade all four elemental swords in BO6 Zombies.
How To Get All Swords In BO6 Citadelle Des Morts
Open up your first Pack-A-Punch when you spawn into Citadelle Des Morts. Upgrade your weapon till you are confident enough to battle the enemies ahead. Now, you need to locate a particular zombie with a helmet on its head and shoot its body to get a Stamp. They usually spawn within the Castle’s entrance hall, but you can find them in other areas too. You must collect four stamps to unlock the four special swords.
Make your way to the Entrance Hall of the Caste, which is the room right after the front entrance. You will spot four statues, two on either side. Each statue corresponds with one of the four elements; Fire, Light or Solar, Void, and Electric or Lightning. Pick up the swords one by one and start embedding them with an element.
How To Get The Fire Sword (Caliburn: Dragon’s Fire)
Head over to the statues on the right side of the Entrance Hall and interact with the first statue near the entrance. You will get the base sword for the Caliburn. After that, head upstairs and insert the sword in the pedestal in front of the dragon statue. Now, you need to collect fire from three different braziers strewn around the map.
The first one can be found by heading left from the castle and going up the Village Ramparts. Collect the fire from the brazier and quickly run back and interact with the dragon statue. You will take continuous damage by picking up the flame, the only way to regain some health back is to kill purple-eyed zombies.
The next brazier is found close to the spawn point at Town Square, where the large statue is located. There is an archway in front of the statue you can go through to find the second brazier. Repeat the steps of collecting the fire and placing it on the dragon statue.
The final brazier is right next to the Rampage Inducer in the spawn room, at Village Ascent. After delivering all three fires to the dragon statue, you can now collect the Fire Sword.
How To Get The Light Sword (Solais: Lion of Light)
Head back to the entrance hall and pick the second sword on the right side, away from the entrance. Right after you pick it up, glowing parasites will spawn and follow you. Kill just one of them and your sword will start glowing.
Next, find a door in Upper Village with a lion head knocker on it. You can find this door on the same path where you will encounter the Speed Cola, right beside the town well. Hit one of the glowing parasites with the sword, then hit the knocker on the door. A symbol will appear on the door, do this step three more times till three more symbols appear.
You can now unlock the door and head inside. At the end of the passage is a pedestal where you can place the light sword. Pay attention to the symbol that appears on the pedestal. You will notice three different symbols appear on the walls. Shoot the symbol on the wall that matches the symbol on the pedestal. Do this three times and all the symbols will be cleared off the wall. Your Solasis sword is now ready for the taking.
How To Get The Void Sword (Balmung: Raven’s Shadow)
Back at the entrance hall, pick up the second sword on the left side away from the entrance. Enter the Alchemical Lab on the left side, behind the statues. Within this room you will find a bone trophy located across various areas of the lab. You can check the table or the shelves to find this trophy, and once you do find the trophy make a note of the name on it. This will help you figure out what zodiac sign you need to choose during a puzzle you will encounter later.
Pick it up, then exit the castle and make your way towards the tavern in the spawn area. Head down to the tavern cellar by taking the stairs down, you will find a large rune chart on the wall. Place the trophy and sword into the wall, then you need to solve a quick puzzle here.
How To Solve The Zodiac Puzzle Solution In Citadelle Des Morts
Depending on what trophy you have collected, turn the dial so that the right zodiac and the right element symbol align with the green arrow at the bottom of the dial. Each of the green triangles symbolizes a different element, and each of the blue symbols relates to one of the zodiac signs. Each zodiac sign is split into four groups with three symbols each.
You need to figure out what your trophy symbolizes, then turn the dial so the right element and the right zodiac sign align with the green arrow. Below are all the symbols that appear on the dial, and what they mean. We will also include what each of the trophies you pick up symbolizes.

Trophy Meaning:
- Ram Horns = ♈︎ + 🜂
- Twin Raven skull = ♊︎ + 🜁
- Scorpion in Rock = ♏︎ + 🜄
- Fish fossil = ♓︎ + 🜄
- Jaw Bone = ♌︎ + 🜂
- Animal Skull = ♎︎ + 🜁
If solved correctly, a purple portal will appear on the floor and three purple orbs will float around the room. The orbs will appear one by one, and your task here is to guide each purple orb to the purple portal. The orbs will follow you, so move near the portal and they will get sucked inside.
But this isn’t the end of the puzzle, as you need to repeat this step two more times. The second time, the portal will spawn on the tavern’s main floor upstairs. Repeat the steps, then the portal will move to the upper floor. Continue to do the same, then once the portal closes up, one of the orbs will float down to the cellar. Follow it and claim the Balmung sword.
How To Get The Electric Sword (Durendal: Stag of the Storms)
Finally, pick up the last remaining sword in the entrance area, which is the light or electro sword. You need to collect three lightning rods across various locations. You can get one by shooting the electrical box on the wall beside the Speed Cola in the Upper Village, but you need the Dead Wire ammo mod to shoot and get the item.
Another one can be found next to the Deadshot Daiquiri machine in Hilltop, in between the crates next to it. For the final rod, head over to the Dungeon and speak to Krafft after you open the wooden panel on the wall. Soon after, zombies will start spawning around the dungeon, kill them all to get the final rod as a random drop.
Head over to the Hillside Ramparts to find a large metal container and place all three rods inside. Once it starts to spin, a storm will form and several zombies will appear. You need to kill and parry them with the sword, and randomly the sword will get zapped with lighting.
Once that happens, quickly run over to the metal container and hit it to transfer the electricity onto it. Do this two more times, a total of three times, then place your sword into the container to get the Durendal.
