The Nuketown map has always been home to some fantastic easter eggs in the game, so much so that gamers have made compilations of all their favorite Nuketown easter eggs from the previous Black Ops entries. It was expected to see the same amount of fun easter eggs in Nuketown of Black Ops 6. The Mannequin Easter Egg of the newest Black Ops 6 harks back to similar ones in all previous games of the series. Here is a guide to activating the Mannequin Easter Egg in BO6 Nuketown map and the changes you will encounter on activating this easter egg.
How To Activate The Mannequin Easter Egg In Nuketown Black Ops 6?
We have to pop the head of every Mannequin in Nuketown within a limited time to activate the Easter Egg.
The Timer is set to 1:30 Seconds, you must shoot all the heads of the Mannequin in the area. While it may seem easy, in reality, it can be a bit difficult. This is because there are multiple factors impacting the Mannequin findings in Nuketown. For e.g.; if you are in a public session, it can get difficult to bring down the Mannequins in the game compared to a private session. Like that, we have listed out all factors that make getting the Mannequin Easter egg in Nuketown BO6 that much harder… or easier.
But before we do that, let’s have a look at what happens when you activate the Nuketown Easter Egg.
What Happens After You Activate The Nuketown Easter Egg In BO6?
On activating the Nuketown Easter egg, you will be a TV show trapped between an old-school sitcom and the modern-day Walking Dead.
Once you shoot all the Mannequins in under 1:30 Seconds, the screen will then flash a “Signal Lost Stand By” message, just like how they used to appear in the old TV shows, if you have played Fallout, you have probably seen the screen millions of times.
Don’t worry once the Signal Lost picture disappears; you will be in the same Nuketown but with a completely different vibe. Here are some of the changes you will see when you activate the easter egg:
- Old TV-Show Visual Effect: You will see the old TV show statics across your screen giving you the feeling that you are in an actual old TV show.
- Old 90’s Sitcom Jingle Music: The game will play jingle music that is synonymous with old sitcoms. Don’t worry to spare your ears, they didn’t add any canned laughter tracks.
- Mannequin Audience: If you go to the end of the road, you will see a bunch of Mannequins sitting on their chair and looking at the map. The Mannequin will express different emotions based on your actions. In short, the Mannequins are now the audience and you are in the live-taping TV show. The audience here will be watching your every move and react accordingly. As there are cameras everywhere on the map.
- Mannequin Expression #1: Naturally, if you try to shoot at the Mannequin, they will boo at you.
- Mannequin Expression #2: if you kill another player on the map, they will cheer.
- Mannequin Expression #3: When you kill the Mannequin enemies, the audience here will also boo.
- Mannequin Enemies: No more zombies, now you will face Mannequin running around on the map. The Mannequin enemies are relentless as they will spawn infinitely.
- Special Mannequin Animation: Many of the Mannequin will pretend to stand still giving you the illusion of safety but once you get close to them they will bite.
- Nuketown Count: The town board will start counting every Mannequin spawns in the area.
Factors To The Mannequin Easter Egg In Nuketown BO6
Factor #1
Having more players in the Nuketown will result in more Mannequins spawning.
The mannequin numbers depend on the number of players in the game. if your game has more players then you will encounter more mannequins in the Nuketown. Here we recommend you launch a private session only with your friend, so you will deal with less Mannequin and more firing power since there are two of you and nobody will join in.
Factor #2
The spawn location for the Mannequin is always random.
All the Mannequin locations in Nuketown are random, adding another variable to the Nuketown easter egg. The Mannequin you will encounter on your first run will not be present in the second, the randomness element will work to the gameplay variety flavor. It will feel like we are playing it again without retracing the same old steps.
Effective Strategy: Launching a private match with your buddy and covering different sections of the map will help you round up the Mannequin easily without too much hassle.
- Hit Multiplayer > Find a Match
- Here selection option to launch Private Match
- Then choose Create or Join Private Match. Here select Create Private Match.
- Change the map to Nuketown in the Gamesetup. Have the Gamemode at Infected.
- Add some bots and start the Private Match.
Note: The Easter Egg can also be activated on solo, but you will need to move fast to hit all the Mannequins under the 1:30-second timer.
