Chapter 10’s Nightmare Deja Vu has tons of steps to follow to complete the questline in Throne and Liberty. But since this is one of the main quests in the storyline, you have no choice but to go through the quest objectives one by one. You will encounter enemies on your journey and puzzles as well, making this a more complex questline to solve.
Towards the end of the questline, you will get an objective called Nightmare Herald. For this, your task is to move to temple 1 to avoid Berge. This requires a lot of sneaking, and you might fail a couple of times. But don’t worry to much about it, as this guide will cover how to complete the Nightmare Herald quest in Throne and Liberty.
How To Start The Nightmare Herald Quest In Throne and Liberty
The Nightmare Herald quest is part of the Nightmare Deja Vu questline in Chapter 10. After going through the quest and reaching the Assemble quest, you will get the Nightmare Herald as part of it. The quest objective takes place at the Shattered Temple.
How To Move To Temple 1 To Avoid Berge
For this section of the task, you have to be sneaky and try to avoid Berge’s gaze. If you fail, you will be petrified, and start this puzzle from the beginning. When you first start the quest, you get a tip to hide behind walls for protection, so you should do just that. When you head out, you will notice a red symbol appear over your character, and that slowly starts filling up to a full circle. You will also get a text message saying “It is over there”. If that happens, that means Berge has spotted you and will attack.
To move over to Temple 1, just follow the steps below.
- From your starting location, exit out the temple and quickly run to the northwest section of the map.
- Hide behind the wall here. Some enemies will spawn so defeat them quickly.
- There is a grapple point in front of you on the floating pillar up north.
- Use the grapple point to hoist yourself up, then glide across the river to the other side.
- Make your way to the structure ahead and interact with the Rift of the Barrier in Temple 1.
- You will find Sophia, Henson, and Robert on the other side. Infuse Mana of the Star Fragment on them to remove the curse.
- After saving them, the camera will then pan over to the next location where you need to go.
- By now, the Berge’s gaze has been deactivated, so you can move around with ease.
- Head east after you exit the temple to find several other floating pillars with grapple points.
- Use them to get across to the Light Sanctum Ruins. As the final part of this quest, interact with the Black Rift within the Sanctum to enter the Berge boss fight arena.
- Defeat Berge and get transported back to the temple, then pick up the two bags that appear within the temple and head back to Clay in Purelight Tower.
You have now successfully completed the Nightmare Herald objective in Throne and Liberty.
