    Longbow

When it comes to picking the best weapon in Throne and Liberty, you cannot go wrong with Longbow. Whether it is PvE or PvP mode, Longbow provides exceptional DPS and attack range in both. Its quick mobility and self-healing properties make it a superior choice in solo as well as group gameplay.

    Advantages:

    • Unmatched ranged DPS.
    • Self sustaining through healing arrows.
    • Exceptional mobility.

    Disadvantages:

    • Requires good positioning and aiming skills.
    • Leaves you vulnerable in close quarters.

    Ideal Pairings:

    • Longbow + Staff: Best for AoE domination, using this paring increases the attack range. Using this combo is recommended when you are surrounded by a large group of enemies.
    • Longbow + Dagger: While the longbow gives damage advantage, using dagger gives your attacks more precision. It is a great combo when you are dealing with a strong enemy.

A Tier Weapons in Throne and Liberty

    Crossbow

A versatile weapon with closed-range precision. This weapon is great for hunting down a single target, however, it does lack AoE damage and needs to be paired with a weapon to overcome this shortcoming.

    Advantages:

    • High single-target ranged damage.
    • Excellent mobility with dodge roll.
    • Decent burst damage.

    Disadvantages:

    • Lacks AoE damage.
    • Attack timing is crucial.

    Ideal Pairings:

    • Crossbow + Dagger: It is a great combination that increases the mobility and burst potential.
    • Crossbow + Greatsword: This pairing increases the attack range which is otherwise the major shortcoming of the crossbow.

    Wand & Tome

Probably the finest support weapon in Throne and Liberty, Wand offers great healing and crowd control abilities in the game. The damage casted by the wand lasts for a long time and weakens the enemy buffs slowly.

    Advantages:

    • Powerful healing effects.
    • Crowd control through stuns.
    • Consistent damage over time effects.

    Ideal Pairings:

    • Wand + Longbow: Enhances DPS, healing, and crowd control.
    • Wand + Greatsword: This combo is best for healing and AoE damage.

    Dagger

Dagger is a great weapon choice if your fighting style is a mix of swift and precise attacks. This weapon provides excellent critical hit chance with high burst potential. However, you should only pick this weapon if you can time your attacks well.

    Advantages:

    • High critical hit chance.
    • Excellent mobility for flanking and dodging.
    • High burst damage potential.

    Weaknesses:

    • Requires precise positioning and timing.
    • Makes you vulnerable if caught in close quarters.

    Ideal Pairings:

    • Dagger + Greatsword: This combo gives exceptional AoE damage along and provides close-quarters lethality.

    Greatsword

This weapon is the ultimate blend of AoE damage with balanced attack and defense. While it may give you a slow start, it is a sustainable choice that can be paired well with offensive weapons. The main reason you shouldn’t rely on this weapon for attack is that it will leave you exposed to ranged attacks.

    Advantages:

    • High area-of-effect damage
    • Self-sustainable
    • Balanced offense and defense stats

    Weaknesses:

    • Requires positioning to maximize area-of-effect damage
    • Makes you vulnerable to ranged attacks

    Ideal Pairings:

    • Greatsword + Sword and Shield: Pairing the Greatsword with sword & shield makes up for the range vulnerability. Overall this combo provides high AoE damage and defensive capabilities.
    • Greatsword + Wand: This pairing offers solid support with healing magic and is great for melee attacks.

C Tier Weapons in Throne and Liberty

    Staff Throne and Liberty

    Staff

Staff is mainly an AoE damage dealer that can clear weak enemies but lacks the ability to focus on single targets. It is best if you choose this as an off-hand weapon.

    Advantages:

    • High damage output against groups of enemies
    • Useful for leveling

    Disadvantages:

    • Low single-target damage
    • Long cooldown time
    • Limited self-sustain

    Ideal Pairings:

    • Staff + Longbow: This pair combines the AoE damage of the staff with the longbow’s ranged attacks proficiency.
    • Staff + Wand: This is an ultimate support weapon combo that increases the AoE capacity of the staff.

    Sword & Shield

Ideally, the Sword & Shield is the ultimate tank weapon that increases your survival on the battlefield. However, while you are busy blocking the enemy, you remain exposed on the uncovered areas. It provides limited attack windows and leaves you with a very low mobility.

    Advantages:

    • Unmatched defensive capabilities
    • High threat generation through taunts
    • Essential for group play.

    Weaknesses:

    • Low damage output
    • Limited mobility

    Ideal Pairings:

    • Sword and Shield + Greatsword: Makes up for the limited AoE that Sword & Shield lacks.
    • Sword and Shield + Wand: Accentuates your defense by adding healing and crowd control skills.

Now that you are familiar with the attack range and strong pursuits of each weapon, you can decide which weapons suit your playstyle. Also, keep in mind that this ranking is purely subjective and it is your skill that makes a weapon really shine in Throne and Liberty.
