Throne and Liberty has a lot of content, with new quests constantly getting added as you enter new regions. These quests are helpful in getting you rewards as you grind your way to that perfect build. The Orc’s Language codex is one such quest that has you locating 5 Orc Texts spread across various locations.
In this guide, we have put up all Orc Text Locations along with the best ways to get to these locations. Let’s get started!
How To Start Orc’s Language Codex In Throne and Liberty
You need to head over to Fonos Basin first and find and talk to the Fonos Basin Guard and Fonos Orc Researcher here. You can spot the Guard near the outskirts of the village, while the Researcher is located near the Watcher’s Post prison entrance. It is recommended to reach level 50 before you take on this quest, as it can get quite challenging to complete.
Collect The Orc Texts At Fonos Basin Guide
There are 5 Orc Texts to find, and each of them can be found all around Fonos Basin. The area is also filled with Orcs, so you might have to fight a couple of them to gain entry to certain locations. If you open up your map, you can find an area that is encircled near Fonos Basin. You need to search for all the Orc Texts within or outside this circle.
Orc Text Location #1
The first one can be found after entering the Fonos Basin Giant Cave in the southwest section within the encircled area. Once you find the stone archway, go through it and you will find a chief chair near the waterfall. Investigate the chair to get the first Orc Text.
Orc Text Location #2
Head north of Tevent Temple or just south of the cave you were in earlier. There is an Orc Tent outside the encircled area, where the second Orc Text is located inside.
Orc Text Location #3
There is another Orc Tent on the south side, away from the encircled area. Outside the tent is the third Orc Text you can pick up.
Orc Text Location #4
From your previous location, you can keep going eastwards and you will spot the fourth text on top of a cliff.
Orc Text Location #5
For the final Orc Text, head back to the entrance to the Fonos Basin Giant Cave and exit out the back. Check the area for a watchtower in the northern section within the encircled area.
Go up the watchtower using the stairs and glide towards the cliffs on the northeast side. Don’t try to climb up the cliffs, instead make your way to the east while hugging the cliff walls and jumping across the platforms. You will find another Orc Tent with the final Orc Text.
Pro Tip: Orc Texts will respawn in the same location after some time. If you don’t want to explore, you can pick up any nearby Orc Text, complete some other quest on the side, and then return to the area. There is no fixed time frame for when the Orc Texts respawn, so you might have to take a gamble.
