Stalker 2: How To Open The Electric Field Safe Stash

Like most open-world survival games, you will face danger and trouble lurking in every corner, be it mutants or NPCs who are out to get you while exploring Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Of course, that won’t stop you from trying to get to the bottom of whatever happened within the Zone. The good thing is that the game also helps you on your journey with several unique stashes at various locations that contain items of value.

Sometimes, these stashes are easily visible and are out in the open, but oftentimes you will find them locked away in places that are hard to access. Once you reach Garbage and explore the Electric Field, you will find a safe that requires a particular code to unlock it and get the stash. In this guide, we have put up both – the code, and how to get the code for the Electric Field Safe Stash in Stalker 2.

Make your way over to Garbage first, then to the southeast corner of Slag Heap. Once here, check out the area to find a two-story building in the Electric Field. Once you find the building, make your way upstairs to the top floor to find the secret safe.

    Electric Field Safe Stash Code

The answer to the safe code is 1708. Input the code into the safe and you can pull out the secret stash, which contains ammo, consumables, grenades, and other items. Now, if you are wondering how we end up with this code, you can follow the steps below.

    • First, investigate the outside of the building where the safe is contained.
    • You will find a ladder leading up to the rooftop of the building.
    • The area around the building and the roof is filled with anomalies, so use your detector and some healing kits while you are here.
    • Get up to the roof and pick up the USB drive located on the ledge of the rooftop.

    • You can find the USB next to an empty bottle, and picking it up will mark the location of the Electric Field Safe Stash.
    • Check your map and hover over the safe stash icon. Read the description to get a hint about the code.
    • You need to imagine what a stick, cobra, porthole, and infinity look like, and the shapes they form.
    • These shapes will resemble numbers, hence how you can crack the code. Technically, it is:
      • Stick – 1
      • Cobra – 7
      • Porthole – 0
      • Infinity – 8

Now that you know how to crack the safe, you can quickly head inside the building to get the loot. If you are looking for more loot such as weapons, then you can check our Stalker 2 guide on the Reimann SMG.
