All Magic Jewel Locations in Onimusha 2 Remastered
Since there are 9 Magic Jewels required to upgrade your magic skill to the max, we will list out where to locate them all below. Activating all the magic jewels will also unlock the Massive Mana Pool trophy.
Magic Jewel Location #1
After exiting the gold mine to Imasho Town, you will find an NPC sitting near a hut. Keep talking to him till he tells you to leave him alone, after which he will hand over the first Magic Jewel.
Magic Jewel Location #2
You will unlock Ekei as an ally a bit later in the game, and you can rank up his level by offering him items. In return, there is a random chance he will give you a magic jewel. The best gifts to give him are alcohol, crowns, telescopes, and blue parrots.
Magic Jewel Location #3
Magochi is another ally you can rank up by giving him the items that he asks for. You might receive the Magic Jewel from him randomly if you give items like beer, dice, blue parrots, and such.
Magic Jewel Location #4
For this one too, you need to hand over gifts to an ally. Speak to Kotaro and find the items that he is looking for and hand them over. The gifts he prefers are playing cards, compass, globes, and so on.
Magic Jewel Location #5
Oyu is another ally who might give you the magic jewel randomly, provided you give her a gift in return. She would mostly ask for telescopes, love potions, mirrors, silver coins, and more.
Magic Jewel Location #6
You will need Magoichi to help you collect this magic jewel. Once your friendship with him is high enough and he is in your party, head over to Fog Valley and locate the 3 Nobunaga Statues. After that, Magoichi will help you break down a blocked path under a tree, and you can pick up one magic jewel and one power jewel here as well.
Magic Jewel Location #7
You have to make a second trip to Gifu Castle. While exploring the southern section of the castle, you will find a door that requires the Cherry Blossom Key that you picked up earlier. Keep going through the passage till you come across a chest with the Crescent Key. To the left of it is a small puzzle to solve, and after you are done, you will receive a magic jewel as your reward.
Magic Jewel Location #8
For this one, head over to Sacred Oni Castle Underground. The path is pretty linear, so keep going through the passageways till you come across another puzzle. Solve it to get the magic jewel.
Magic Jewel Location #9
While on board the Flying Ship, keep going up to the topmost areas of the ship to find another puzzle. Solving the puzzle will give you the magic jewel.
