Mods in Mecha BREAK help enhance how your preferred Striker works, by adding augments and additional customizations for them. In Mecha BREAK, there are a few ways to get these mods, but you need to grind particular modes to get them first. This guide will explain where to get and how to use mods in Mecha BREAK.
How to Get Mods in Mecha BREAK

Playing in Mashmak mode is the more popular option when it comes to obtaining mods in the game. Defeating enemies under this mode has a high chance of dropping Mod Boxes. You should also note that dying in this mode will make you lose everything, including any mods you have collected.
Another way you can earn mods is to unlock Supply Crates. Supply Crates are obtained by playing the game’s missions and ranking up. The rarity of your Supply Crate will also influence the rarity of the items inside, including mods. Besides scavenging boxes and crates, another way to get mods is to craft it.
Using the Mod Assembly System

Low-tier mods can be taken to the Mod Assembly to combine them into a higher-level mod. You will require 10x mod of the same level along with some Matrix Credits to create one mod of a higher rarity. There are four rarity tiers when it comes to mods; Fine, Superb, Rare, and Flawless.
Most of the time, there isn’t a stark difference between the attributes supplied by- the mod rarity, but you can still go ahead and fuse them together to see some changes. Rather, the only thing you should keep in mind is that you can’t influence a mod’s buff or debuff.
Each time you equip a mod, while the Striker will gain buffs in some aspects, they will also gain a debuff in another stat. This is purely random, so you might have to experiment with several mods to create the perfect build.
Types of Mods and How to Use

As for the types of mods available, there are five different mod types, as listed below.
- Corixium Cascade Engine
- Carbotanium Skeleton
- Propulsion System
- Corixium Muscle
- Mindbridge Cockpit
The mod types don’t influence the attributes they will have, rather they are indicators of where they should be used on the Striker. Each Striker can have up to 3 mods per body part. Adding these mods will enhance that part of the Striker, like getting a stronger engine using Corixium Cascade Engine or a tougher exterior and higher defense using Carbotanium Skeleton.
To equip a mod, hover over the Operation Storm section and select the Mods tab. You will get a clear visualization of each part of your preferred Striker. Select the part, then add the correct mods to watch your Striker’s attributes change. You can always tweak mods under this menu. Mods are an essential part of Mecha BREAK, as you get added attributes this way.
