Black Ops 6 Zombies packs in guns and zombies and many hidden Easter Egg secrets in the game. Some of the hidden secrets have a lot of barriers put in front of them, going at it without a guide will make the Easter Egg feel almost impossible to solve. Here we have prepared a simple guide to help you navigate the zombie-infested map of the region, collecting all the necessary quest-related items to complete the Liberty Falls main quest Easter Egg of the region.
All Steps For Liberty Falls Main Quest Easter Egg
If you want a smoother ride through the Liberty Falls main questline, follow the steps without skipping any. Without further ado, let’s begin the journey.
Unlock The Pack-A-Punch Machine In Liberty Falls
Unlocking Pack-A-Punch allows you to upgrade the weapons and free the map from barriers.
We need to move around the map without facing barriers blocking our path. The first thing you should do is unlock the blue barriers on your way to the machine, you will come across plenty of barriers, and unlocking them will smoothen the rest of the guide to the Liberty Fall Easter Eggs.
Crafting Jet Gun In Black Ops 6
You will need a Handbrake, Water Pressure Gauge, Electrical Wire, and an Unfinished Jet Gun Model to obtain a Jet Gun in Black Ops 6

Interact With SDG Generator
With the Jet Gun in your hand, it’s time to head back to the Hilltop Church, where we found the Pack-A-Punch Machine, but this time we are heading over there to interact with a different machine.
Once you are inside the church interact with the SDG Generator on the right. A cutscene will soon trigger with a new quest for you to craft an LTG Device out of LTG Device parts.
Craft LTG Device in Liberty Falls
Compared to what you have been through collecting the parts for Jet Gun, LTG Device parts will feel like child’s play. We have a detailed guide on LTG Device parts in Liberty Falls, and we recommend you go through this before moving ahead.
Interact With SDG Generator (Again)
With the LTG Device in your possession, it’s time to head back to the SDG Generator at Hilltop Church. Once you interact with the machine, you will pull out an Aether Canister from the SDG Generator. We will need to put the canister far away to continue our Liberty Falls main quest Easter Egg hunt.
Note: The Aether Canister is heavy, it will slow you down. Your movement will be slow, and you will be unable to run. If things go hectic, you can put the canister on the ground to clean off the zombies.
Set Up The Aether Canister
The Aether Canister will work as a trap to catch higher-level monsters.
- Carry the Aether Canister to the Gas Station area, or where you spawn in the Liberty Falls. Head to the Gas Price Sign, located center of the road, next to an oil truck.
- When you look at the ground, you will find a circular device spot, interact with it to install the Aether Canister.
- If you look at the canister on the ground, you will spot a wire coming out of the trap connected to the Generator a few feet away. Activating the Generator will require 1000 Essence.
To trap the monster, we will have to lure it to the Aether Canister. Then activate the Generator nearby, and only after that we can kill the Monster to trap its essence in the canister.
Use LTG Device Under Dark Aether Storm
We must install the LTG device under the Dark Aether Storm near Main Street to spawn the higher-level monster.
- You will find a dark storm in front of the chicken store, a few feet away from the Aether Canister location,
- The storms’ locations are easy to spot, as they will have a small purple cloud in the air striking lighting down at the ground. That’s our spot, install the LTG Device on a device underneath the storm.
- After placing the device, interact with it to spawn a portal. Now you must defend the Portal for 60 seconds from all sorts of zombies.
Once the 60 seconds are over, the game will spawn Lythnor or Abomination or a Mangler. It’s random, but to keep it simple we will go with Abomination.
Note: If you fail to protect the portal, you will have to wait for another round to reactivate it.
Trap The Abomination In Aether Canister
Don’t kill the abomination near the portal, we have to kill it near the Aether Canister if we want to trap it. But feel free to damage the Abomination until you see 5 or 10% health left. It’s time to lure the Abomination to the Aether Canister spot near the Gas Price Sign, and quickly activate the Generator to trigger the trap.
Now it’s time to kill the monster near the canister to trap its Essence. Unlike before, Aether Canister will start to glow purple. That’s our sign we have captured the monster successfully in the canister.
Note: If you fail to trap the abomination, you must head to the LTG Device spot again to redo the same set of steps.
Interact with SDG Generator
Now we must take the canister to the SDG Generator in the Hilltop Church.
Note: The timer will soon start, as we will have 90 seconds to deliver the Aether Canister to the SDG Connector at church. Throughout the 90 seconds, Dark Canister will leak the energy we trapped earlier.
Take the bowling alley route to the church to get there quickly, and interact with the SDG Generator to insert the Dark Aether Canister to receive the next objective.
Use Strauss Counter To Locate The Second Canister
To find the second Canister, we must tune three Projectors throughout Liberty Falls to the proper colors via the Strauss Counter.
When you insert the Dark Aether Canister in the SDG Generator, you will receive a Strauss Counter replacing your Tactical Equipment. Our objective here is to locate an energy projector using the Strauss Counter.
How To Use The Strauss Counter
Interact with a tactical button to pull out a Strauss Counter next to the Projectors.
The objective here is to find three white-colored projectors, with the help of Strauss Counter, we can make the projector change its color. Just head to the projector and pull out the Strauss counter by using the Tactical Button. Then we can change the color of the projector to proceed.
Here is the proper color pattern for the Strauss Counter:
- If the Strauss Counter display is Red = The solution is a Green Projector Light.
- If the Strauss Display shows Green = The solution is a Red projector Light.
- If the Strauss Screen shows Yellow = We must turn the Projector Light Yellow.
Note: How you change the color of the projector will be random. But the solution to solve it stays the same.
Location Of All Projectors In Liberty Falls
To find the location of the second Aether Canister, we must change the bulb color of all three projectors in Liberty Falls.
Hill front of Liberty Lanes Sign
The first location is a hill outside the Liberty Lanes sign. Here you will find the first projector.
Groundskeeper’s Yard
Go to the back of the Groundskeeper’s house to find the second projector turn the light to the proper color to get to the last projector.
Yummy Freeze Rooftop
Get to the rooftops of the bank, break the barricade on the right, and land on the Yummy Freeze Rooftop, here you will find the last projector.
Pick Up The Second Canister
Once all the projectors are tuned to the proper color or signal, they will start beaming out purple energy beams pointing to one specific location. You will also receive a message from Panos about the Gas Station. We will have to reach the location to retrieve the Second Aether Canister.
While you are here, grab the LTG Device we placed next to the Chicken Shop a few feet away from the Gas Price Sign. Now you have a second Aether Canister and LTG Device. Time to capture another Monster.
Set Up The Second Canister
Place the canister on the road to the church.
The workaround for the second canister works as same as the first one. We will have to repeat the same steps over again but from a different location.
Head to Washington Ave, take the street next to the Flower Shop, and you can place the Second Canister next to the car. Once placed, follow the wire from the Second Canister to spot the location of the Generator.
Use LTG Device Under Dark Aether Storm – 2nd Time
With the second Aether Canister set up on the street, head to the cemetery in the Hilltop Church. You will come across another Dark Aether Storm, place the LTG Device underneath to create a portal.
The objective here is the same as the last time, defend the portal from the zombies. Once you defend it for 60 seconds, a Mangler will spawn.
Trap The Mangler In Aether Canister
Damage the Mangler until 5 or 10% health is left on the monster. Lure the monster to the Second Canister Location, and activate the generator to trap Mangle Essense. Kill the Mangler near the Second Canister location for the whole trap to work.
Interact With SDG Generator
Just like the last time, we have 90 seconds on the clock, to deliver the Aether Canister to the SDG Generator to trigger the final event for the Liberty Falls main quest Easter Egg.
Prepare For The Final Fight In Liberty Falls
We have completed everything in Liberty Falls, now it’s time for the final fight. Better to enter the fight with an upgraded gun, Perk-A-Colas, Armor leveled at Tier 3, and some Mutant Injections.
Note: Once you activate the final encounter, you can’t go back so make sure you are well prepared for what you are about to face.
Activate The SDG Generator For The Last Time
Activate the SDG Generator inside the Church for the last time to trigger the final events. Once activated, the exit will close, our objective is to slay every zombie in the church. Each zombie you kill their soul will get transferred to the generator.
The zombie onslaught will go on for three waves, as you probably guessed, every wave amps up the difficulties and zombie numbers.
Wave 1: Simple Zombies, less in number.
Wave 2: More Zombies, Few Manglers
Wave 3: Elite Zombies, Manglers, and Abominations
Once you have completed all the waves, a cutscene will trigger as Panos will suck out your energy and leave through the portal. Here you will be given two choices to continue with the game or exit the match.
