Most of the puzzles in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are fun and not that difficult to solve, but every once in a while, the game does through a curveball at you. Once you reach the Vatican and start The Stolen Cat Mummy quest, there is a puzzle that you can easily miss while on your way to meet Father Antonio. This ‘Bulls of Blood’ Mystery is found deep within Castel Sant’Angelo. If you are having a hard time trying to locate the puzzle or even solve it, this guide covers all that in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
How To Start The The Bulls Of Blood Mystery In Castel Sant’Angelo
The Bulls Of Blood Mystery unlocks on reading Russo’s Note in Castel Sant’Angelo. You will find this note on the table in the southernmost room of the castle, near a fireplace. During the Stolen Cat Mummy quest, you will get an objective to get to Passetto di Borgo while near Castel Sant’Angelo. You can pick up mystery notes along the way that will help you unravel the secrets within. In case you missed this puzzle entirely, you can always return to the Castle by following the path near the southern walls of the Tower of Nicholas V.
How To Solve The Bulls Of Blood Puzzle
You will get a hint to investigate a secret hidden somewhere close to the Angel Courtyard, so do just that. From where you picked up the note, head straight north till you reach a seating area. Investigate the desk on the right to get the Angel Courtyard Map and a Red Bulls card. The Red Bulls card is the puzzle solution, while the Angel Courtyard Map points to the location where you need to be. But you can ignore the map since you are already on the Angel Courtyard, so only check out the Red Bulls Card.
On the right side corner of the room are two portraits of bulls on the wall and a blocked entryway between them. All you have to do is rotate the pictures so the two red bulls are on top and facing each other. The doorway between them will open up and reveal the secret passage, and solve the mystery! But there are more collectibles to find beyond the door.
Enter the passage and pick up the next mystery note on the right, which is another collectible called Cesare Borgia’s Letter. You can then pull the lever at the end of the corridor to unlock the doorway, which will lead you to a balcony. Investigate the chest in front of you first to collect some Lira, then pull the second lever on the left to unlock the gate and make your escape.
For your efforts, you collect 100 Adventure Points, but this isn’t all the secrets that the Vatican holds. You can check out guides on obtaining all the 5 Cat Photos or all 15 Medicine Bottles in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
