The weapons in Dragon Quest 3 Remake can help you win the tougher fights that you face as you progress through the levels. Initially, you can find some simple, starting weapons, which will help you defeat the early game bosses and monsters. But you will require something sturdier and stronger as you keep playing the game. The Steel Broadsword is one of the better weapons in Dragon Quest 3 Remake, but obtaining it can be a bit tricky. And that is why we have put up this guide to run you through the steps to collect the Steel Broadsword in Dragon Quest 3 Remake.

Steel Broadsword Location In Dragon Quest 3 Remake

The Steel Broadsword is located deep within the Underground Lake. You can get to this area after you travel northwest towards Norvik Village and then head west towards Faerie Village. If you head further west and follow the coastline from Faerie Village, you will come across the Underground Lake. You would probably reach this area if you have picked up the quest from Norvik Village about the sleeping villagers. The cure for the villagers, called the Dreamstone, is also located deep within the Underground Lake.

Before you venture out any further, it is best to consume some Holy Water. The cave is filled with enemies, so consuming it will help reduce the encounter chances. Once inside the cave, navigate all the way to B4. The path can be a bit tricky to understand, as there are several dead ends. Follow the steps below to get to floor B4.

    • After you enter the cave to floor B1, head south and exit through the southeast to reach floor B2.
    • Floor B2 is pretty linear, there is only one path so follow that through.
    • After that, once you reach the next section of B2, go southwest and take the exit.
    • Once you reach floor B3, take the northern exit to reach floor B4.
    • Now that you are in B4, follow the path straight down to find a chest.
    • Open the chest to get the Steel Broadsword.

You can also check out all the dead ends to collect some loot like a Mini Medal, rare accessories, or consumables. If you are looking for the Dreamstone as well, you can find it on the other side of B4. Take the exit back to B3, then take the southern exit to the next section of B4. Once you are done with the exploration, you can zoom out of the cave to exit.
