How To Get Jasmium In Dune Awakening

In Dune Awakening, you have to be attuned to crafting everything from scratch. Luckily, the overworld is filled with tons of materials, making it easier for you to gather supplies for your next crafting mission. One of the more important resources to find are Jasmium Crystals, which is a requirement in crafting Duraluminum Ingots. This guide will explain where to locate Jasmium in Dune Awakening.

Before you venture out to collect Jasmium Crystals, you need to be prepared to survive a lot of radiation. This is where you need to research and craft the Radiation Suit. Along with that, research and craft the Industrial Cutteray Mk4, as this is the only weapon that can mine Jasmium Crystals. Anything below this will not be able to cut through the ore.

Since collecting Jasmium is a late game resource, you would have already built a bunch of heavy duty vehicles to get you around. The Ornithopter is one of the best vehicles to take with you, since it offers the most storage space and are fast enough to get you around. Now, once you are all done with the preparation, head over to the location marked below to start mining Jasmium.

The best place to collect Jasmium Crystals is at the very bottom left corner of Hagga Basin South, called Sheol. The area is filled with radiation, so once you make it past the border, you need to keep an eye on your radiation bar at the bottom of the screen. Don’t let it fill up, as it will lead to your death and you will lose everything in your inventory.

Open up your map once you are within the zone to check for circular structures around the area. They will resemble crater holes from above, and within each crater you can spot one or a couple of Jasmium Nodes. You can check which crater has the maximum number of Jasmium Nodes and head straight to them so you don’t waste a lot of time within the radiation.

Once you are within range of the Node, scan it for the crystal, then pull out the Industrial Cutteray to mine away. Be careful not to spend too much time within the waters of the crater, as it is highly radioactive. Quickly scan the node, mine it, then get back to the Ornithopter to stop the rapid increase of radiation.

If you notice the red bar around the radiation icon is almost all the way around, then it is time to stop mining and get out of the area quickly. You can circle back around once your radiation status effect resets, and you can continue to explore more crates and mine more Jasmium Crystals.

Jasmium Crystals is one of the main crafting components for the Duraluminum Ingot. Once you have unlocked the Medium Ore Refinery, you can find the recipe for the Duraluminum Ingot here, and this requires the following materials.

    • 500x Water
    • 4x Jasmium Crystals
    • 1x Aluminum Ingot
