Gamers who aim for that 100% completion know very well that some of the bronze trophies or achievements can be very hard to get despite being a bronze trophy, such is the case for the Inherited Pride achievement in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Getting this achievement requires you to unlock the branching path for Future Trunks but it’s harder than it seems. This is because it demands the completion of certain specific quests and a fight that can be quite challenging. Here is what you need to do to obtain this elusive achievement.

How To Unlock The Inherited Pride Achievement In Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero
You need to complete all episodes on the Inherited Pride branching path in Trunk’s Saga to get the Inherited Pride achievement in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. To unlock this branching path, play the “Trunk’s Choice” episode on normal difficulty and select the “Stay here and train” choice when talking with Vegeta. You can then dial the difficulty down for the episodes that follow this branching path to easily get the achievement.
After selecting “Stay here and train”, you will face Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan all in one fight. Not only that, but you will also have to complete this fight very quickly in under 2 minutes to unlock the Inherited Pride branching path. While Piccolo and Gohan can be easy to deal with, Vegeta is where most players struggle and fail this fight.
How To Defeat Vegeta, Piccolo, And Gohan Easily
To complete this fight to get the Inherited Pride achievement in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, you will need to defeat all three of your opponents before they switch out and tag the next character.
Here is the strategy to defeat Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan in under 2 minutes:
- Keep charging your Ki as soon as the fight starts till you can use the Final Flash as your first attack. This will require 3 bars of Ki and can be performed by pressing R2 + Triangle for PlayStation and RT + Y for Xbox.
- This will launch your opponent far away, so capitalize on this free time and charge again until you reach Sparking Mode.
- Now use a Dragon Dash to cover the distance, spam your basic attacks, and end it with the Final Hope Smash which is performed by pressing R2 + Circle for PlayStation and RT + B for Xbox but it can only be performed if you are in Sparking Mode.
- Rinse and repeat this until all three of your opponents are defeated which will unlock the Inherited Pride branching path for Future Trunks.
If you somehow miss the first Final Flash or your opponent manages to block it, you should restart the fight and keep doing that until it hits. The Final Flash needs to hit if you want to get the ball rolling and complete this fight as quickly as is required to get the Inherited Pride achievement in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
