Golem Locations In LEGO Fortnite
There are three types of Golems in LEGO Fortnite to find, and they are located in different locations within the Lost Isles biome. You can find a Golem within the Beast Dens located on the floating islands, and another one walking along the beach’s shoreline. Sometimes a Golem will spawn if you open chests within these floating islands. You might also run into a Golem while walking around the Jungle biome, or even find one deep asleep near chests located close to the giant fruit statues. Some of them can be found wandering the open fields or plains, so you are always guaranteed to encounter a Golem during your exploration.
Best Weapons & Gear To Defeat Golem In LEGO Fortnite
The pickaxe is considered a great weapon against the Golems in LEGO Fortnite, as they deal the highest damage out of all weapons. This comes as no surprise, as Golems are literally made of rocks. You need to upgrade your Pickaxe to level 3 by collecting rune essence and upgrading your weapon on the Rune Forge.
Pro Tip: If you are running low on Rune Essence, you can do a neat trick to get an infinite amount of it. First, collect Klomberry and feed it to the Klombo. The more Klomberries you feed it, the more rewards it will drop, which includes Rune Essence. You can do this an indefinite amount of times to farm Rune Essence.
Next, take your essence to the Rune Forge and upgrade your Pickaxe all the way to level 3. As for the best Essence mods for your Pickaxe, try to put Damage III, Destruction III, and Berserk III. Damage essence will increase your damage output, while Berserk will increase your jump height and sprint speed for a short duration. Besides this, you also require a Knockback Shield, which should be level 3 as well. Another piece of equipment that can help you out is the Grapple Gun, which can help you get away from the Golem’s long reach.
Golem Moveset & How To Beat
The Golem uses three basic attacks while in a fight. The most damaging of them all is the spin attack, where the Golem will spin around the area and deal immense damage to anything and anyone in its path. You can anticipate the spin attack when it steps back for a second before flailing both its arms. If you see this happen, get your grapple gun out and swing to safety. But don’t stray too far, because as soon as the Golem is done with this move, it gets stunned for a while. This is the best chance to swoop in and deal some damage
Besides this move, the Golem will also slam down and punch at you if you get too close. Dodging is your best bet here, and try to get behind the Golem when they slam down. That way you can hit them and deal damage. You can also try to stay under them while they are stationary, as they seem to do the least amount of damage up close. Try not to get too far away from them or they will hit you with ranged attacks. Use your shield if you find yourself trapped so you don’t take damage.
Rewards For Defeating The Golem In LEGO Fortnite
You will usually get 1x Rift Shard, 17x Obsidian, and 12x Essence for your troubles. You might also get crafting materials from some of the Golems. To get more rewards during the fight, ensure that the Golem does end up destroying objects and items in its environment. That way you can quickly farm resources that will add to your rewards pool.
