The 0.3.0 Update in Path of Exile 2 brings in some new changes, and one of them is the renaming of the Martial Tempo support gem. It has now been renamed, and under the new name, it appears to have undergone further changes with the update. If you are wondering whether Martial Tempo still exists in POE2, then this guide will cover all that and more.
Has Martial Tempo Been Removed in PoE 2?

No, Martial Tempo has not been removed, but renamed to Rapid Assault in the 0.3.0 update. The support skills for using Rapid Assault remain almost the same as those for Martial Tempo, with a slight reduction in attack speed. Instead of a 25% increase in attack speed, you have to deal with just 20% with Rapid Assault. But, obtaining this support gem is the same as Martial Tempo. You get to obtain it by unlocking it at the Gemcutting menu.
Like Martial Tempo, Rapid Assault requires spears to function, and also requires +5 Dex to use. When using this gem, you get +6 to Melee Strike Range. This enables further reach with your spear, stabbing targets more rapidly. All in all, you won’t see a drastic change from its original namesake, as the stats, capabilities, and leveling of Rapid Assault will be familiar to players who are used to Martial Tempo.
The Path of Exile 2 Third Edict has promised and delivered substantial changes to the game mechanics and balance, and added new content at the same time. The 2-day free to play also looks to be working, with the game getting a solid 334k active player count on Steam.
These balance changes in Path of Exile 2 have also impacted several builds, and we have put up for you a great League Starter Blood Mage build guide to fully play into the damage buff for Arc.
