In Palworld, you can set some of your Pals at your base to do all the work when it comes to crafting, gathering, cooking, and everything else that needs taking care of. A great addition to the game through the Feybreak update is consumable books that improve certain work affinities for your Pals. The book that does that for the Handiwork specialty goes by the name of ‘Applied Manual Labor Technique’ and it increases this particular affinity by 1. How To Get Applied Manual Labor Technique 1 In Palworld
The best place to get the Applied Manual Labor Technique 1 is to complete a quest given by the Arrogant Pal Critic NPC in the new Feybreak island. Make your way over to Stone Pillar Cave Entrance waypoint [-906, -1001] and look around for a fireplace nearby. You will spot two NPCs sitting around it, and one of them is called the Arrogant Pal Critic.
For the quest, you need to show all the Pals that the Arrogant Pal Critic asks for. For each Pal you show him, you can get certain rewards. You can always head over to your base and collect these Pals for the task, then head back to the NPC to show it to him. The final Pal you need to show the Arrogant Pal Critic is Bastigor, after which you can get the Applied Manual Labor Technique 1. You can collect this item just once from this particular NPC, after which you can try farming it during your exploration. The Applied Manual Labor Technique 1 can be found inside dungeons, supply crates, and inside Level 60 Oil Rig chests across all regions.
How To Use Applied Manual Labor Technique 1 In Palworld
You can find the Applied Manual Labor Technique 1 in your inventory, after which you can select it and give it to any Handiwork specialty Pal you own. This will increase their Handicraft affinity by 1, and can be maxed till +5. You cannot add more affinity points beyond +5 Work Suitability, so you might have to focus on using this item on other Pals to raise their Handicraft levels. This item cannot be used on Pals who don’t have the Handiwork work skill, so that is something to keep in mind while trying to use the Applied Manual Labor Technique 1.
