Fields of Mistria is more than a simple farming sim, as you can explore the vast world filled with opportunities and make new friends. One of the more unique personalities you will come across is Caldarus, an ancient dragon guardian who you unknowingly get into a pact with. In the latest update, you can start a romantic journey with Caldarus, and this guide will explain how to go about it in the Fields of Mistria.
How To Get Caldarus Human Form In Fields Of Mistria
The second major update in Fields of Mistria gives you an opportunity to convert the dragon guardian into a human form. To go about it, follow the steps below.
- Keep working on the mines till you unlock level 60, after which you can pick up a strange tablet to start the Fire Tablet/ Breaking the Fire Seal quest.
- After that, exit the mines and quickly make your way to the bathhouse to talk to Juniper about the tablet.
- Upon examining the tablet, Juniper will inform you to collect three items: an emerald, a faceted rock gem, and a rockroot.
- You can collect all the above items while exploring the mines, and after turning them in, she will request one final item: the Sealing Scroll.
- Head over to the Sleeping Dragon Inn and talk to Balor about getting the scroll. It will take 3 in-game days for him to locate it.
- Talk to him after 3 days, after which he will ask you to get 10x sapphires, 10x rubies, 10x emeralds, and 10x iron ingots.
- Deposit the items into the chest outside his cart, then talk to Balor again. He will ask you to wait one more day to procure the Sealing Scroll, so do just that and he will hand over the item to you the next day.
- Be sure not to open the Sealed Scroll in your inventory, and immediately head over to the mines once you get it.
- Head down to the 60th floor and place the scroll into the slot where the tablet was previously.
- There is a short cutscene, where you can view Caldarus’ human form and also learn the Dragon’s Breath spell, thus ending the quest.
- To visit Caldarus, head towards the Deep Woods, which is a new location on the map just northeast of the Eastern Road.
- Use Dragon’s Breath on the vines blocking your path to gain access to the Deep Woods, then go right.
- There will be a tree stump blocking your way, and to get rid of it you need to chop it down with a copper ax or higher.
- Beyond the area is Caldarus’s home, where you can interact with him in his human form. To reach his home henceforth, you can use the dragon statue to teleport here directly, but it will cost 10 essence to do that.
- Caldarus can now be invited to the Shooting Star Festival as his human counterpart.
