Fallout 76 has seen renewed interest thanks to the recent well-received Fallout TV series; as well as the Skyline Valley update that went live a couple of days back. As is the norm in any Fallout game, resource-gathering, crafting and base building are likely to occupy a lot of your time in Fallout 76 as well; and one of the tools that can make this much easier for you – if you know how to use it is the Fallout 76 Free Cam Mode. We have put up the full guide on how to use this helpful tool in the game
How To Get Into Fallout 76 Free Cam Mode
The Fallout 76 Free Cam Mode can be accessed by opening up the Camp Crafting Menu, clicking on Options button to Toggle Camera – and the Free Cam Mode will be activated.
What Does The Fallout 76 Free Cam Mode Do
The Fallout 76 Free Cam Mode allows you to access all areas outside and inside of any structures that you have built to place additional items inside them, without requiring you to move to that place. As your base becomes bigger and bigger with a lot of stuff in it, this becomes incredibly useful as you can put up things at any place by using the Free Cam Mode.
A helpful tip is to turn on ‘Toggle Object Rotation’ as it enables object rotation to place them at a different angle then the default position for that object.
How To Access Fallout 76 Free Cam Mode Settings
Go To Settings -> Game and at the bottom there are various settings to adjust the Free Cam:
- You can toggle ‘Start Free Cam in Workshop Build Mode’ to On – which will make the Free Cam the default mode whenever you open Workshop Build
- You can adjust the movement and rotation speed for the Free Cam to what works best for you
And that is everything that there is to know about Fallout 76 Free Cam Mode! Hopefully this would make your crafting experience that much more enjoyable.
