Citadelle des Morts packs in a whole lot of enemies and side quests that people are slowly discovering on their playthrough. Many people like us fell in love with Maya and her story arc at the Terminus map, the new location brings an epic conclusion to her by tying up a lot of loose ends. If you are hankering for Maya’s story, then the new map has it wrapped up for you. This guide takes a look at all the steps to kick off Maya’s secret quest in the newest Citadelle des Morts map.
List Of Choices To Complete Maya’s Secret Quest
At the end of the Terminus map in Black Ops 6, Maya is forced to take out the monster that once was her brother. The secret quest in the Citadelle Des Morts sees Maya vowing to take vengeance on the people who wronged her brother. In the quest, we find out about Franco, the man who sold off Maya’s brother to Project Janus.
To trigger Maya’s Secret quest, we must:
- Play as Maya
- Survive to Round 12
- Defeat the Laurent
After you defeat the boss you will trigger a cutscene that ends Maya’s questline and provides a fitting conclusion to her arc in BO6 Zombies.
Requirement #1: Play as Maya
Select Maya as your operator.
Before you start thinking about completing Maya’s questline, the very first thing you should do upon starting the game is to choose the operator Maya. Regardless of the skin you decide to use, Maya should be the operator. The selection process can be done only in the Zombies menu right before you start the game.
Requirement #2: Make it to Round 12
Survive to Round 12 to start the dialogue with Franco.
Now comes the toughest part, make it to the Dining Hall and here survive until you reach Round 12. Reach upstairs by the Vulture Aid, and take the wooden door on the left. Here you will find a radio on the table. After you interact with the radio, again only after round 12, a man named Franco will begin talking to you. This serves as an activation point to start the secret quest.
Access to the Secret Door
The locked door next to the radio will now open.
Interact with the radio again to see Maya’s reply to Franco, this will open up a secret area for us to go through, but it is only accessible for Maya. The area is home to parasites, Doppelghasts, and other Vermin enemies. It is not going to be an easy run, make sure to pack some firepower before charging in.
Requirement #3: Defeat Doppleghast Laurent
Defeat the boss to grab the key.
After defeating the Doppleghast, take a huge breath because here comes a more powerful version of the Doppleghast Laurent.
Once you defeat that behemoth, you will get a key from the boss. With the key, we can now unlock the door located north side of the room. Once you open the door with the key, you will start going down the stairs, and at the end, you will finally encounter Franco’s hiding spot. Here you will trigger the hidden Maya cutscene.
Reward: GS45 Pistol
After the cutscene is over, you will drop into the map with a legendary pistol on the ground.
