Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a combat oriented game, and as such, you need to fight your enemies by performing the best attack moves. Creating combo attacks is one way of quickly getting several hits on your opponents, but trying to perform combo moves can be a bit difficult for first timers. In this guide we will show you how you can create combos in Bleach: Rebirth of Souls.
How to Perform Combo Attacks in Bleach: Rebirth of Souls
Using combos in Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a bit different from other anime fighting games. For starters, you need to understand and utilize your character’s various attack moves and learn to string them together. Secondly, you need to switch to advanced controls while playing the game, as this can help you string together more complicated attacks and turn them into combos. You can change this in the game’s settings.
Performing Hohô

Now, to perform a combo at the initial stage, you can do a Hohô move. This lets you move behind an enemy, and you can also perform a Follow-up Hohô to perform and extend a combo attack. But, performing a Hoho attack will utilize your Reverse Gauge, so you need to time this move properly. Just as your opponent is about to attack, use Hoho to counter them.
Also, performing too many moves just to string a combo might not be the best way to attack, as this won’t cause a lot of damage. Rather, stick to just 2 or 3 attack moves and combine them into a combo attack to deal sufficient damage.
Learning Your Character Attacks and Moves
Another way to string combos is to learn your character’s moves and link together their Spiritual Pressure Moves to create interesting attack patterns. Characters in Awakened state will offer different skills, so try to practice with them first before stepping into the field. Awakened combo attacks are harder to master as well, so it requires tons of patience and skills to learn how to combo this way.
Dealing with Guard

If you come across players who are always on Guard, the only way to deal with that is to perform Breaker attacks first. This can give you an opportunity to break the guard and then put in some combo attacks. Breakers are also great at extending a combo, giving you a longer link while putting in your attacks. Another trick you can utilize is the Reverse Gauge to link combos, and you can also set this gauge to infinite while in training mode to practice how to restart or re-do combo attacks.
In short, performing combos in Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is not a necessity, as your fighting skills will depend on how well you know your character’s attack patterns.
