Best Weapons in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

Taking inspiration from souls-likes, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn follows a system close to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, where you slowly fill up a bar by parrying and attacking the enemy, and executing a devastating deathblow once the meter fills up.

The amount of damage you do depends on the weapon you’re carrying, so that’s why we’ve prepared this article outlining the best weapons to use in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. Let’s get to it!

Best Weapons to use In Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

In Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, there are up to 17 weapons that you can unlock and three slots for you to utilize. And the good thing about this game is that you can potentially finish the game with pretty much any weapon you choose. Regardless, there are some weapons that are better than others, so here they are in no particular order:

    Harbinger’s Axe

    • Location: Obtained after beating the tutorial section.
    • Damage: 55
    • Stun: 10

An early weapon that can get plenty of stopping power with a few upgrades, the Harbinger’s Axe is a very safe choice from the very start of the game, and it can carry you to the end-game just as well. Not to mention, the charged attack sets off an explosion that does massive burn damage over an AOE. Pretty sweet!

    Nor’s Axe

    • Location: Accessible from the start of the game.
    • Damage: 60
    • Stun: 10

Nor’s Axe is the weapon that you start with from the very beginning of the game, and it’s powerful enough to carry you through the rest of your journey as well.

    Skirmisher’s Pistol

    • Location: Purchased through random vendors/merchants.
    • Shots: 5
    • Damage: 93
    • Stun: 50
    • Perfect Reload: +100% Damage

The reason why this gun is in the list is it’s stopping power for anything that’s sliding, running or even enemies up in the air. And to cap it off, the charged shot does 300% damage which is just as good as it sounds on paper.

    Judge’s Hammer

    • Location: Purchased through random vendors/merchants.
    • Damage: 24
    • Prime: 56
    • Stun: 15

The Judge’s Hammer has armour piercing as a passive ability, so if an enemy thinks they’re extra safe inside that thick steel-layered armour, they’re brutally wrong! The combo itself is extremely satisfying to use which ends in a powerful slam that hits enemies to the ground.

And that’s it for our list of the best weapons in Flintlock The Siege of Dawn. Do let us know which weapon are you planning to finish the game with. Meanwhile, if you are just getting started, you might want to check out our Beginner tips for Flintlock : The Siege of Dawn.
