This guide will focus on everything you need to know about Tactical Class and why it should be on your speed dial for a PvE encounter.
- Armor Class: 3
- Class Perk: Auspex Scan
- Class Perk Description: Weaken the enemy’s defenses by highlighting them in the area, making them more susceptible to damage.
- PvE or PvP: High PvE
Space Marine 2 Best Tactical Class Perks
Perks | Description |
Radiating Impact Signature Perk | A Melee Finisher deals significant AOE damage. |
Close Targeting Gear Perk | Melee Damage increases by 50% against Minoris when Auspex Scan is in cooldown. |
Battle Focus Gear Perk | A perfect parry marks the enemy with Auspex Scan. |
Vital Data Gear Perk | Scanning an Extremis level enemies will restore the Auspex Scan’s charge by 50%. |
Aligned Aim Team Perk | 5% Ranged Damage increase to all squad members |
Plasma Boost Core Perk | Plasma Incinerator damage increases by 30% when Plasma Incinerator is at 50% overheated. |
Relentless Pursuit Core Perk | 25% Ranged Damage increase for 5 seconds after a Gun Strike. |
Balanced Distribution Core Perk | The primary Weapon deals with a 10% damage increase but the secondary weapon does 10% less damage. |
There are plenty of trade-offs you can make to the list, if you are still going through your parry training, then you can think about replacing Battle Focus with Precise Calibration. Where Auspex Scanned enemies will take 75% more damage but the radius for the scanning zone reduced by 25%.
Go with the Core Perks: Plasma Boost and Relentless Pursuit to destroy the brutes faster. Since we are going on full damage, set the signature perk to Radiating Impact for an amazing amount of AOE damage. Signal Jammer’s signature skill makes sense if you want to control the flow of the horde.
Tip on Team Perk:
When it comes to setting the Team perk, pick Aligned Aim over the rest to increase the ranged damage output for all the team members. But if you are focused more on your health than damage, opting out for Transhuman Physiology (all squad members get 30% contrasted health) will be another strong choice for Team skill.
If the area is known to have pretty tough bosses, then you can replace the Close Targeting with Expert Timing, where Auspex Scanned enemies will take an extra 100% damage but the downside to this gear perk is the reduction of mark to 4 seconds from 8.
Space Marine 2 Best Tactical Weapons
You can never have too many guns’ – That sentence rings true when you choose the Tactical class. The ability to use a wide range of weapons without any limitations makes them perfect for combat or support roles. The class is seen as an all-rounder. Perfect for newcomers or veterans who want to take their skills to the ultimate. The highlight of this class is its ability, Auspex Scan.
Primary weapons: Plasma Incinerator, Melta Rifle, Auto Bolt Rifle, Bolt Rifle, Bolt Carbine, Stalker Bolt Rifle, and Heavy Bolt Rifle.
Secondary weapons: Bolt Pistol
Melee weapons: Chainsword
Best Plasma Incinerator Perks
Many Tactical Class players here rotate the primary weapon between a Plasma Incinerator, Stalker bolt, or Heavy bolt. Almost all of them are straight killers on the battlefield, but we tied the knots with the Plasma Incinerator. The charged shots from the incinerator mixed with the Auspex Scan will send terror into the hearts of the enemy.
- Fast Venting: Weapons Cooldown 15% faster rate.
- Rampage: 25% more damage for 5 seconds after killing 10 enemies in a row (Cooldown 30 seconds).
- Plasma Collection: 20% Energy Reserve Boost for Plasma Weapons.
- Charged Speed: Increases the charge speed by 25%.
- Supercharged Shot: Increasing the damage from changed shot by 10%.
- Efficient Charge: The Charge Shot consumes less energy by 2 bars.
- Perpetual Velocity: Shot Charges a 15% faster rate.
- Rapid Cooling: Killing 10 enemies in a row eliminates overheating for 5 seconds.
Set Fast Venting, Rampage, and Plasma Collection to your primary weapon. Mixed with the Chainsword swings, this build will serve you well against tough encounters in the game. If you are ready to make some sacrifice on the ammo capacity, then switch to Drogos Reclamation – Beta Plasma Incinerator, and then enable Adament and Plasma Resoration for Plasma ammo.
Best Bolt Pistol Perks
Bolt Pistol will come in very handy when dealing with large waves of enemies. Since the goal of the Bolt Pistol is to thin out the hordes, perks such as Great Might, Divine Might, Head Hunter, and many more will sound appealing.
- Great Might: Terminus enemies will take 10% more damage.
- Retaliation:25% more damage for 5 seconds after a perfect dodge.
- Iron Grip: 35%. Recoil Reduction after a Gun Strike.
- Divine Might: Increase Damage by 10%.
- Extended Magazine: Increases the magazine size to 15%.
- Elite Hunter: Headshots deal 50% greater damage for 5 seconds after a melee attack to defeat an enemy that is Majoris level or above.
- Gun Strike Reload: Instant reloads after a gun strike.
- Head Hunter: Headshots get 10% increased Damage.
We recommend you pick Great Might, Retaliation, and Iron Grip. Since you have the Plasma Incinerator to take care of the hardest-hitting bosses in the game, the waves of common enemies can be taken care of by switching to a Bolt Pistol. Here focus on the damage, The Great Might and Retaliation help the player to deal more damage with a Bolt Pistol.
Best Chainsword Perks
Your partner-in-crime next to Bolt’s pistol will be the Chainsword. The perfect mix to clear out any enemy horde easily. Reverberating Impact mixed with Radiating Impact will release a disaster for the enemy. A massive AOE damage boost will be a perfect combo to take care of all smaller enemies in the area.
- Perpetual Strength: Melee Damage Increase by 5%.
- Swift Recovery: Heavy Attacks restore 100% contrested health.
- Reverberating Impact: Stomp AOE increase to 50%
- Hard Target: Performing Light combo reduces 15% less damage to the player.

- Kill Streak: Kill 10 enemies in a row with a light combo to gain immunity to heavy hits for 5 seconds.
- Momentum Gain: Consecutive Light attack increases the melee damage by 3% (up to 30%) for 3 seconds.
Saving the Plasma Inceninator for the rough ones in the area. The Radiating Impact signature skill will bring the best out of the Chainsword. Here are some of the best perks available for this melee weapon.
