Setting a proper Netrunner Build in Cyberpunk 2077 requires careful attribute point distribution and perk selection to give much-needed power to the Quickhack. You will also need to select proper Cyberware, Weapons, and Quickhacks to make the entire build functional. Here, we will go through all the bells and whistles for the Netrunner Build in Cyberpunk 2077.

Best Netrunner Build: Setting the Attribute Points

The very first step for the build is to set up a good amount of attribute points on proper stats.

    • Body: 20
    • Intelligence: 18
    • Reflexes: 18
    • Technical Ability: 20

Body attributes will influence the HP, while Reflexes will impact the movement. And Intelligence and Technical Ability will become the key attributes for the entire build.

Best Netrunner Build: Selecting The Right Perks

    Intelligence:

You must get almost every perk from the intelligence perk menu. Which means getting all the perks under Spillover, Queue Mastery, and Smart Synergy.

    Tier 4: Rookie Perks
    • Optimization: Influences RAM recovery rate.
    • Eye in the Sky: It’s the branching perks around the Eye in the Sky that matter the most. Get a Warning: Explosion Hazard sub-perk.
    Tier 9: Pro Perks
    • Hack Queue: Increases max RAM. Get Feedback Loop, Data Recycler, and lastly Counter-A-Hack.
    • Embedded Exploit: Increase the RAM recovery rate. Here focuses on unlocking the Recirculation sub-perk. This will allow killing with a smart weapon to recover RAM.

Note: Unlocking Recirculation will require getting the Precision Subroutine sub-perk that belongs to the Acquisition Specialist perk under the Smart Synergy tree.

    Tier 15: Phantom Perks
    • Overclock: Increases RAM recovery rate and quick hack damage. Reaching level 3 will unlock Overclock mode. Here, you can execute quick hacks with low RAM, but the cost will fall on Health points instead. Don’t worry about HP; equipping proper Cyberware will take care of that issue. Also get Overclock sub-perks: Power Surge, Race against Mind, and Sublimation.
    • Queue Acceleration:  You will get more RAM and lower the cost of RAM for Quickhacks. Get all of its sub-perks: Queue Prioritization, Finisher: Live Wire, Queue Hack_Root.

And lastly, get: Queue Mastery and Spillover. And then move over to Smart Sinergy.

    Technical:

Here is the list of perks under the Technical stat that you should focus:

    Tier 4: Rookie Perks
    • Glutton for War: Instant recharge to health and grenades after a kill. Here get Transfusion and First-Aid sub-perks.
    Tier 9: ProPerks
    • Health Freak: Increase recharge speed for health items and grenades. Get the Borrowed Time sub-perk.
    • All Things Cyber: Cyberware receives a 10% capacity cost. Here, choose Chrome Constitution, Renaissance Punk, and Driver Update sub-perks. This will unlock the Chipware Connoisseur.
    Tier 12: Phantom Perks
    • License to Chrome: 10% cyberware modifier, +40 armor, and gain a new cyberware slot. Get Cyborg and the Extended Warranty.
    • Pyromania: Increases recharge speed for health items, explosion radius, and movement speed. Here, choose Heat Shield sub-perk.

Lastly, pick “Edgerunner “and ‘Ticking the Bomb‘. Both of them belong to the Legend Tier category.

    Reflex:

    Tier 4: Rookie Perks
    • Slippery: Moving reduces the chance of getting shot by enemies.
    Tier 12: Pro Perks
    • Dash: Unlocks the ability to dash. Here get the sub-perks: Can’t Touch This and Mad Dash.
    • Ready, Rest, Reloaded: 10% stamina cost while shooting with Assault Rifle or SMG and 30% Reload speed.
    Tier 12: Phantom Perks
    • Air Dash: Allows for dashing in the air.
    • Sharpshooter: Increase aim speed, weapon control, and the stack of Sharpshooter allows 7% Stamina regen rate.

    Body:

Just get Painkiller, Adrenaline Rush, and finally Pain to Gain. Painkiller will focus on health regen rate, and all of its sub-perks will further enhance the regen rate. Adrenaline Rush also offers health regen with more bonuses. Pain to Gain will help you regenerate HP after taking out the enemies.

Best Netrunner Build: Selecting Proper Cyberware

    Operating System: Tetratronic Rippler MK5

It boosts the overall effectiveness of combat and non-combat quick hacks. I also increase RAM and have many damage-focused effects inside. A good alternative for the MK5 will be the Arasaka MK5 (Stealth Option).

    Frontal Cortex:

    • Ram Reallocator: Raises max RAM to 2 and instantly recovers 45% of max RAM when the available RAM falls to 20%.

A great alternative would be to get the Camillo Ram Manager tier 5 or the COX-2 Cybersomatic Optimizer (allows for critical hits).

    • EX Disk: Adds 6 more RAM and 35% Upload speed for Quickhacks.
    • AXOLOTL: Killing an enemy recovers 7.5% cooldown for all cyberware.

    ARM:

    • Monowire: Allows you to execute a whip on multiple enemies at once from a distance. And it also has a 20% bleeding chance.

    Skeleton:

    • Epimorphic Skeleton: Raises max health and – 0.5 health per Attribute point.
    • Kinetic Frame: When your stamina is above 85% you will receive 18% damage mitigation chance.
    • Ram Recoup: Taking damage will restore RAM to 3% of its damage. Also, it adds 2 extra RAM.

    Nervous System:

    • Visual Cortex Support: High critical chance, the further away you are from the enemy. The max limit is capped at 30%.
    • Reflex Tuner: When your HP drops below 25% you will be able to slow down time by 60% for 45 seconds.
    • Neofiber: 11% Mitigation chance and strength.

    Integumentary System:

    • Shock-N-Awe: Release a large electric shock when you take damage. The shockwave deals 500 dmg to close enemies, and you have a 10% chance to activate it.
    • Countershell: Adds 50% Mitigation chance if you lose 35% of your health in 3 seconds.
    • Optical Cam: 90% invisibility to enemies for 7 seconds.

    Face:

    • Kiroshio “Cockatrice” Optics: Raises crit chance by 35% and 10x optical zoom when scanning or aiming.

    Hands:

    • Smart Link: 20% Target Lock duration and 15% critical damage with smart weapons.

    Circulatory System:

    • Blood Pump: Instantly restores 110 health and 23 health regen per second, capping at 6 seconds.
    • Biomonitor:  Automatic heal when your HP drops below 50%.
    • Heal-On-Kill: Killing an enemy will restore 7.5% health.

A good alternative for Heal-on-Kill will be to head with Second Heart.

    Legs:

    • Reinforced Tendons: Allows you to double jump

Again, you can choose anything that is better suited to your playstyle.

    Weapon Selection:

    • Shingen Mark V Smart SMG: 50% Headshot damage multiplier with 30% Burn status chance. The highlight here is that every round ends with an explosion; the explosive bullets paired with Contagion Quickhack will result in more explosions.
    • Pizdets Smart SMG: If you want a more stealthier approach, then you could take the Pizdets for a perfect stealth shot.

If you are eyeing an assault rifle, you can pick Divided We Stand for hitting multiple targets. If you prefer to kill at a distance, then pick the Yasha sniper rifle.

    All Quickhacks for Netrunner Build

Cyberpunk 2077 List of Quickhack Screen
    CD PROJEKT RED

Here we will cover all the Quickhacks for the Netrunner build.

    • Synapse Burnout
    • Sonic Shock
    • Contagion
    • Short Circuit

Other handful of other alternatives would be System Collapse, Cyberware Malfunction, Burnout Synapse, and Robot Optics. Contagion will massively influence the type of weapon we are planning to use for the Netrunner build. But most of the time, Synapse Burnout and Sonic Shock will be the go-to option here for a quick kill. Overclock will keep adding fuel even if you run out of RAM, since it will use Health for the Quickhack. If you decided to go with the Shingen Mark V Smart SMG, then Contagion Quickhack will help out immensely.
