Most of the fun in any game lies in unlocking Treasure Chests and taking all the loot for yourself. Sometimes the game makes looting the chests a bit difficult for the player. In Atelier Yumia, chests are hidden with minor puzzles to make the looting worth your time. This guide will detail the location of all three Treasure Chests found in the Nameless Ruins.
All 3 Nameless Ruins Chest Locations
When you head northeast of the Survey Camp, you will come across an area titled “Nameless Ruins“. The ruin holds three Treasure Chests in specific areas. You must solve small puzzles to unlock the chests and open them.
Treasure Chest #1
Compared to the other two, the first one is fairly easy because it is out in the open. Simply get to Nameless Ruins, and you will find the first Treasure Chest on the ground next to the broken wall. It is not hidden behind any mechanics; just walk up to the chest and open it to claim the reward.
Rewards: Essence Powder x3/ 10 Skill Points
Treasure Chest #2
- Go behind the wall where we found our first Treasure Chest, and you will find a staircase leading to the floor below. But the path is blocked with a giant barrier. Look up at the barrier and you will find a red button, shoot the button to open up the barrier.
- Head inside, and you will find the second Treasure Chest in the corner blocked by two magical yellow rings. Look at the doorway on the right side of the chest, the one we took to enter the room. And you will find a red button on the top. Shoot the button to unlock the Treasure Chest.
Rewards: Treasure Trove Key/ 10 Skill Points
Treasure Chest #3
From where we opened the second Treasure Chest, crawl through the hole to the left of the chest. You will soon find yourself in a room with a Special Memory Vial in the corner. Scanning the vial allows you to unlock a new skill, “Exploration: Long-Range Scanning”.
- Now turn right from the Special Memory Vial, and you will see a giant rock blocking the path. There is a light source next to the rock indicating its location. Walk up to the rock and interact with it to push it away.
- Take the ladder to locate the third and final Treasure Chest in the area. Just like the second chest, this one is also sealed up with a red magical ring instead of yellow. But the process to open the chest stays the same regardless of the color.
- You must hit three crystals in the room to unlock the chest. The area also has another Special Memory Vial, but it’s a log containing the lore.
