All New Classes In Once Human 2.0
Three new classes will be added to the Wonder Dawn 2.0 update for Once Human, and we will discuss the details of each below.
Chef
A more culinarily aligned class, you can utilize some of Chef’s unique talents and skills to create exquisite dishes. The Chef’s starting items are the Campfire Stove and the Gourmet Atlas. The campfire stove can be installed anywhere out in the open, and this can help create quick snacks to gain buffs. Dishes placed on the stove can be used by others. The Gourmet Atlas is a record book of every dish created.
Creative Cooking is the core skill of the Chef class, which gives them free rein to choose the ingredients and cook dishes without being bogged down by the fixed ingredient list for a recipe. As for Talents, the Chef has the Glutton, Ingredient Scent, and Fine Cuisine abilities.
- Glutton helps the Chef consume more food to gain 2 food and drink effects in one go.
- Ingredient Scent helps obtain bonus ingredients while scavenging through food storage and settlements.
- Fine Cuisine enhances a dish’s effect and duration the more frequently it is consumed.
Gardener
Gardeners have a unique responsibility of turning regular old crops into sentry beings. Under this class, you can utilize how biomechanical crops function and use them in combat and gathering. As with the Chef, there are two main starter equipment for the Gardener, the Portable Planter Box and the Environment Detector.
The Portable Planter can be used to cultivate seeds while on the go, as well as for storing biomechanical crops. The Environment Detector, on the other hand, keeps track of nearby environmental conditions. The Gardener’s HP Sewing is a core ability, which helps in grafting either two crops together or grafting biomechanical parts on them. As for talents, as a Gardener, you get to utilize the following.
- Environmental Expert: Using the Environmental Detector, the Gardener can detect all environmental parameters and also enhance or restore soil conditions.
- Portable Planting: With the Portable Planter Box, storage and processing of biomechanical plants gets easier.
- Greenhouse Technology: Crops can be manipulated using the Greenhouse Module.
Beastmaster
While the Gardener deals with plant life, the Beastmaster deals with animals. With the Beastmaster class, you can utilize living creatures in your surroundings to gather and fight. For Beastmaster’s starting item, the Beast Whistle will summon a Beast Partner that is linked to your whistle. This creature will help you in exploration and battles outside your territory, and there are three partner animals to pick from.
- Pongo: A boar that can be used for foraging and gathering.
- Misha: A bear that is more combat proficient and can be used in battle.
- Shiro: A wolf creature that can also be brought along for battles.
Now, coming to the Beastmaster’s talents, there are three talents that you can unlock under this class.
- Beast Whisperer: Helps the Beastmaster communicate with the beasts, and creatures will not turn hostile or flee in their presence.
- Breeding Expert: The Beastmaster can change the traits of animals using mutant genes, which helps raise Beast Partners to grow and get stronger.
- Wilderness Master: Helps the Beastmaster to craft the required gear to equip on the Beast Partner.
According to the 2.0 patch notes, profession swapping can happen using a unique yet unknown item that will be later revealed during the update.. Newer players can choose a profession after completing the tutorial.
If you can’t decide on which profession to pick, you can go for the Freelancer class. Under this, you won’t get any unique skills and abilities, but you can get a token to change your profession later on. The class system is available under all scenarios except Raid Zone.
