You can now participate in a limited time event called the Legendary Warrior Face Off, where you have to fight a chosen warrior and get the best score to climb up the ranks. How To Start The Legendary Warrior Face-Off Event In Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
You would have noticed an event pop up message as soon as you load into DBSZ, and this is a limited-time event where you can participate and get some rewards. The Legendary Warrior Face-Off event will run between 24th January all the way to the 21st of February, 2025. You can find a new option in the main menu that will take you to the event.
Legendary Warrior Face-Off Event Explained
The event has several stages where you will face off against various opponents. Each time you win a match, you get to unlock a different difficulty to try and push yourself to complete the challenges. Each time you complete a challenge, you earn Event Points, but there seems to be no purpose for this item yet. The tougher the challenge you face and the higher the difficulty, the better your rewards will be.
Once you load into the missions list, there are around 40+ missions to complete, and each mission will give you a different reward against the boss you are trying to fight. You can go through the list and select the one you want to participate in. At the start of the event, you need to clear the beginner stage before you can unlock the next difficulties.
Best Team Composition
The best team composition for the challenge is to include characters connected to legendary warriors. There will be characters related to the main boss, so if you pick them, you can get some bonuses. If you go through your character roster, you can include the ones that meet the DP requirements mentioned on the right side of the roster.
You can also see a Total Bonus increase for certain characters, which can increase your chances to win. Try to match the DP requirements while also increasing your Total Bonus to get the best outcome. Fusions are also welcomed, as you can include two characters as one.
How To Beat Broly
The first contender right now for the Legendary Warrior Face-Off event is Broly. For this, you can include characters like Dragon Ball Super Goku, Dragon Ball Super Vegeta, Broly (Super), Frieza (Super), or Gogeta (Super). You can also bring some items that will help increase damage output or defense, or even reduce the cooldown of your skills. You should also remember that there is a time limit for the fight, so the faster you are, the better your chances will be to win.
As soon as the battle starts, you can go in and straightaway deal some combo attacks while trying to charge up Sparking Mode. Broly might look intimidating in the beginning, but he is quite easy to tackle with the right team. Keep using your base attacks to bring Broly’s HP down. Once his HP is low enough, he will turn into his Super form. Now is the best time to get into Sparking Mode to deal your ultimate attacks.
