Throne and Liberty has a unique system to determine the strength of your character- which is Combat Power. The way you scale your weapons and gear determines how much your combat power increases. In early game, you can automatically scale your combat power by collecting newer gear during your exploration. But later on, you have to find ways to upgrade them to reach the highest combat power level to enter dungeons. In this guide we will show you how to get over 3,000 Combat Power in Throne and Liberty as a F2P player.
How To Increase Combat Power In Throne And Liberty
Upgrading Gear
Once you have grinded your way to level 50, you should have max traited gear upgraded to at least Rare (Blue) rarity. If you do that, you can gain 136 power for each Rare gear with max trait. Just working on your gear set alone and upgrading them will give you close to 1500 combat power easily. If you are looking for some fast and free ways to farm Rare gear, you can get them in the following ways:
- Completing Adventure Codexes.
- PvE Co-Op Dungeons.
- Purchasing cheap gear from the Auction House.
- The Lithograph book by crafting 4 Common rarity gear.
You also need to work on getting duplicates of the same gear so you can unlock and upgrade traits in Throne and Liberty.
Upgrading Skills (Active and Passive)
The next step is to work on enhancing your skills. You should work on the skills that you have equipped on your character and raise them towards the Epic rarity tier. Working on your passive skills if required will also help increase your combat power, but there won’t be a huge increase like what you get when working on your gear. You should keep in mind that upgrading skills requires Skill Growth Books of various rarities, especially if you are planning on upgrading it to the highest rarity.
Upgrading Weapons
Now, we will come to weapons. Get your Rare rarity weapons and max trait them, then transfer them to the Epic rarity. You can obtain Blessings this way, and this can help work on the weapon traits to max them out. If you are having a hard time trying to get your hands on some good weapons, farming with Co-Op dungeons is the best way. With both primary and secondary weapons in Epic tier and maxed trait, you can get ~450 combat power each.
With your gear, weapons, and skill upgraded, you can easily get around 3000+ combat power. You can increase your gear to a higher Tier, but that will take up a lot of time, effort, and resources than if you max trait your Rare gear. Following all this will just cost you around 6300 Lucent in total, which is quite affordable to get to the highest combat power in Throne and Liberty.
