Red Mercury acts as Wuchang’s equivalent to Souls. Hence why it is important to collect as many of them as you can during early gameplay. Luckily, there are a few good spots to farm Red Mercury, where the bosses are easier to beat during early game. This guide will cover all the best Red Mercury farming spots for early game in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.
Red Mercury Farming Location #1: Worship’s Rise
For the first farming spot, you will reach Shu Temple just before you get to the Blightweaver – Great Centipede boss fight. Get to the underground section of the temple and defeat the Feathered Priest boss. Within this area is a rotatable pillar, and pushing it around will unlock a secret underground cellar. Head inside, defeat all the enemies here, and you will be taken to the Bandit Cave shrine.
From the shrine, jump down and go through the tunnel ahead. Keep to your right and you will spot a wooden wall. Get behind the wall and kill the enemy here, then go a bit forward to find a feathered enemy. Its back will be towards you, so use your heavy attack followed by your final killing attack. Doing so will give you 400 Red Mercury. Reset the map by heading back to the shrine and enter the Dream, then continue fighting the feathered enemy for an easy Red Mercury farm.
Red Mercury Farming Location #2: Cloudspire
The second location you will reach during early game is Cloudspire, where you will be passing through Hillswatch towards Snowy Passage. From the Snowy Passage shrine, take the path on the right away from the Cloudspire Outskirts. You will spot a bridge on the right, go across and head right till you find a cave entrance on your left. Enter it, and at the end of the cave is the Mort Grotto Shrine. You can defeat the enemies that you find along the way, as these enemies too will drop a fair amount of Red Mercury.
From the shrine, enter the passage on the right and defeat any enemy you encounter. While here, look around for a large tree and hit it with your weapon. A large tree enemy will appear, use your best fire spells to stun it and your best weapons to take it down. Killing the tree will give you 2,000 Red Mercury. Reset the area at the Shrine to repeat this process and continue farming Red Mercury.
Red Mercury Farming Location #3: Mt. Zhenwu
Once you reach the third location called Mt. Zhenwu, keep going through Battlefield Pass, Refugee Camp, and Avian Dwelling till you reach the Avian Marsh shrine. From the shrine, turn around and go right. Keep going down the path till you find a large oyster enemy. This is one of the easiest enemies to defeat when it comes to farming Red Mercury, and defeating it will drop 2,750 Red Mercury. Along the way, if you had defeated the other smaller enemies, then you can easily round up the Red Mercury count to 3,000 – 3,500.
