Benedictions in Wuchang can be found in the world by exploring or taking down tougher bosses or special enemies in the game. Once you have Benedictions, you can use them to upgrade your weapons. You can attach Benedictions to almost any weapon and immediately gain access to a good amount of benefits. Here is a complete guide to Benedictions in Wuchang.
How To Unlock Benedictions
Once you defeat Tang Palace Maid on the Buddha Cliff, you will unlock Benedictions in Wuchang. It is the first mini-boss you will get to fight. Defeating her could take a while if you are not used to the game’s mechanics. Defeating her will gain you Wisdom benediction, Skyborn Ward.
How to Use Benedictions

Interact with any shrine in the game, and you will see the option for Benediction on the right side of the panel. Upon clicking on the Benediction, you will see a weapon selection option and options for Benedictions: Wisdom/ Memory/ Oath.
Select any weapon and add Benedictions to the slot to activate it. Once you add the Benediction to a weapon, it will get activated immediately and work as a passive effect for the weapon. Make sure to add Benediction for both weapons in your possession, so when you switch to the second weapon, you don’t have to worry about its lackluster performance.
Note: You can add three types of Benediction to a weapon, but one of each type (Wisdom/ Memory/ Oath) can be activated at a time; the types limit the amount of Benediction for each weapon.

What are Set Bonuses for Benedictions?
In Wuchang, you will come across five set bonuses for Benedictions. Unfortunately, very few Benediction sets offer set bonuses. Getting three of the same set will grant you a variety of passive effects. All five set Benedictions bonuses are:
- Skyborn Plume: Attack increases after gaining Skyborn Might.
- Impale: Stabbing attack gets damage increase
- Momentum: Eliminating enemies gains damage increase, but loses it all when taking damage.
- Mastery: Increase damage if you hold 12 Discipline Skills.
- Overload: Raises the power of charged heavy attacks and affects their Stamina costs.
Where to Find Benedictions?

They are not extremely rare in the game; you will find a good number of them throughout the world. Here are some of the ways to get Benedictions in Wuchang:
- Optional bosses: Eliminating optional bosses and high-level enemies drops Benedictions.
- Inaccessible Areas: If an area is guarded by stronger enemies, it probably holds some secrets or rewards within it. Explore the world, and you will get a good amount of Benedictions.
- Buying Benedictions: You can also buy Benedictions on sale by interacting with some vendors. They are not going to come in cheaply, so make sure to carry a thick wallet if you are planning to buy them.

What are the best Early-game Benedictions?

Early on in the game, you are limited to making use of a few Benedictions that don’t have any proper set bonus.

- Location: Found inside a chest inside a house near Shu Sanctum.
- Skyborn Magic (Wisdom Benedictions): Gain spell attack damage every time you gain Skyborn Might. Paired with Blocking Clash, you can easily guess how quickly you can get Skyborn Might.
- Location: Found under the scorched tree when you are leaving the cave for Shu Sanctum.
- Skyborn Ward (Oath): Multiple hit combos gain Skyborn Might.
- Location: Dropped by a Tang Palace maid in Buddha Cliffs.
- Plunging Force (Wisdom): Increases the potency of the plunging attacks. As you increase Skyborn Might, you will take less damage.
- Location: You can find it on the overpass connecting to the roofs in Shut Sanctum.
Other best Bendictions include Wei- Six and Tri- Disciplinary Force Bendictions. Both allow you to cause damage if you hold 3 or 6 Discipline Skills. Later on, you will focus on combining various Benedictions to activate the set bonus to gain even more passives.
