Enshrouded, the action – survival RPG from Keen Games will have you go through the loop of venturing into the hostile open world of Embervale, collecting resources to upgrade your gear and bases and strengthening your character. The game also has side quests, and one of those that you will run into will have you hunt for a chest. In this guide, we have put up all the details on the Oswald Anders’ Chest in Enshrouded.
Oswald Anders’ Chest Location In Enshrouded
The Oswald Anders’ Chest side quest is a typical fetch quest given to you by the Blacksmith. He gives you information on the chest that he lost, however he is no longer interested in it and you are welcome to its contents if you are able to locate it.
In order to locate Oswald Anders’ chest in Enshrouded, head to the Carpentry Camp which is south west of the Anicent Spire – Revelwood Fast Travel point.
Once you approach the camp, you will notice a pit right next to the tent. This area will be a bit different from the sandy area in front of the tent – it will have gray colored rocks. More accurately, this area will be in between the tent and a wheel barrow. All that is now left is to dig the pit using a pickaxe till it reveals the treasure chest.
You can now loot the chest for the reward – it will be a random loot all the time. On doing this, the quest will be complete.
Make sure that you have spoken first to the Blacksmith to start this quest so that it does not become bugged. Oswald Anders, the Blacksmith who gives you this quest is the individual you first rescue as you emerge from the Cinder Vault. You will anyways keep coming back to him for crafting several key upgrades that help traversing the world like the Glider and the Grappling Hook. In addition to that, you will also be recovering his Smithing Tools, helping him build a Forge and a Smelter. All of these will then help you craft as well as upgrade armor, shields, weapons and even decorations for your camp!
The game is currently in early access on PC and is likely to be released in 2025 across PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. The game generated sufficient interest on Steam to have around 160k active players when it first came on to early access.
