Towers of Aghasba is the latest open-world survival RPG to hit the game list. In the game, you have to work together to rebuild your village and overcome the threat by the Withered. Things can take an ugly turn if you don’t work on your skills and learn how to adapt to the wild ways of life. Luckily, there are a lot of quests to pick up while playing Towers of Aghasba, and one of them involves learning how to take care of your ecosystem. In this guide we have put up the details to help you complete the Sowing the Seed quest in the game.

The Sowing the Seed Quest starts automatically after you learn to plant the King Tree Seed to get the  Temperate Colossal Tree. You can get the King Tree Seed by talking to Pawel early in the game. After you are done, you will meet with a Sprite and the God of the Forest. After the cutscene ends, you will be tasked with the following objectives for this quest.

    • Feed three creatures
    • Plant five Temperate Seeds
    • Grow twelve plants
    • Grow the Temperate Colossal Tree

How To Complete Sowing The Seed Quest In Towers Of Aghasba

Completing all the objectives within the Sowing the Seed quest will help you upgrade your Colossal Tree to level 2. We will guide you through the process of all the objectives below.

    Feed Three Creatures

To find creatures, talk to Pawel during the quest to get the Shimuscope. You can use this item to detect creatures within your surroundings and the type of food they like to eat. Next, collect these food types by scavenging nearby. Usually, during the early stages of the game, you will be asked to find and feed Skirtaus and Beetlepups. To feed them, you require Berries for Skirtaus and Roots for Beetlepups.

Next, head into your inventory and link the food to your radial wheel. Head over to the equip option and pick up the berries or the roots, then aim and toss them to the ground. Ensure that you are within the marked ecosystem to feed the creatures for this task. Now, all you have to do is wait for a creature to come by and eat the food, thus completing the task. Don’t forget to collect the rewards dropped by the creatures in the end.

To collect Temperate Seeds, you have to climb up the now fully grown Colossal Tree. Temperate Seeds will always respawn here, so you can collect as many of them as you want and store them. Collect 5 of them for the objective and head over to any clearing within the ecosystem. Interact with the seeds in your inventory to enter the Planting Mode. Plant the seeds and check the timer on top of each seed to know when they will be ready.

Now that you know how planting and growing plants work, you can collect more seeds and repeat the steps to complete the second and third objectives. This is also a great way to grow your own berries to feed Skirtaus. You can get berries by collecting seeds and planting them, and you can collect more seeds by scavenging.

    Grow The Temperate Colossal Tree

Your final objective is to grow and upgrade the Temperate Colossal Tree. You should already have the Temperate Colossal Tree at level 1 right off the bat, so you need to upgrade it to level 2. To do this, speak to the Sprite and it will tell you to collect 15* Amity and 10* Dung. Amity can be collected by doing all of the tasks mentioned above, namely planting seeds and feeding animals. You can also collect Amity by destroying any Withered Roots you come across.

Dung can be collected from creatures after feeding them, and is one of the reward drops at the end of the feeding session. Return to the Sprite after you are done collecting the required Dung and Amity to upgrade the Temperate Colossal Tree to level 2. This completes the Sowing The Seed quest in Towers of Aghasba.
