You need to prepare your best fighters to help you out in Torchlight Infinite’s Outlaw DLC. If you plan on playing as Rosa, then you need to get the best build out there. This guide covers Unsullied Blade Rosa’s build, and will have you deal massive amounts of elemental damage with efficient mana utilization.

The Outlaw DLC has introduced Unsullied Blade Rosa, and you can harness her elemental damage to her advantage. We will detail the best weapons, gear, passives, leveling, and more below.

    Best Gear and Weapon

    • Desire of Survival
    • Despised Shadow / Mercurial Torment
    • Oathkeeper x2
    • Rare Belt
    • Rare Body Armor
    • Rare Boots
    • Rare Gloves
    • Scarlet Decree
    • Silver Frost x2

You can get most of these items from the Ground or from Treasure Troves. In particular, the Oathkeeper, Silver Frost, Despised Shadow, and Mercurial Torment can be found within Treasure Troves #4 or #6.

The Oathkeeper is the best weapon for Rosa, since it adds additional Cold Damage alongside her other elemental skills. As for the rest of the gear, go for items that offer higher Intelligence and/or Dexterity. Anything that offers cold elemental damage or increased physical damage is also welcome.

    Skill Setup

    • Frostbite
    • Biting Cold
    • Frost Spike
    • Ice Bond
    • Burst of Anger/ Added Cold Damage

Frostbite should be your go-to here to help you clear out larger areas quicker. Frost Spike can be used alongside Spiral Strike for increased movement. Use this with Burst of Anger or Added Cold Damage for added damage alongside movement speed. Ice Bond can be used between you and the boss or on top of the boss, whichever placement you prefer. If you don’t prefer Biting Cold, you can switch out your entire setup to Hardened with Ice Spike, Freeze Chance, Haunt, and Added Cold Damage.

    Hero Trait

Unsullied Blade – Gains Mystic Mercury that can convert to Realm of Mercury upon reaching max Mercury pts. Mystic Mercury consumes Mana. Mana is also restored when Realm of Mercury is active.

Mystic Mercury, when using Attack skills (non-channeled), consumes 10% unsealed Mana. 10x Mercury is used up if Mana is included, or 5x Mercury if Mana is depleted. At 100 Mercury, it converts to the Realm of Mercury. Offers +3% Elemental Damage and Attack Speed per 10% Unsealed Mana. Recovers 20% Unsealed Mana when using Attack skills (non-channeled).

    Passive Tree

    • Goddess of Hunting – Perception, Rushed
    • Bladerunner – Joined Force, Waiting Attack
    • Prophet – Frostbitten (non-boss attack)/ Frozen Lotus (boss attack)
    • Arcanist – Mind Focus

Unlocking the Hunting tree will help you with early game. The Main Talents here will help you increase your speed, agility, and damage output. Switch that out with Bladerunner mid-game to further increase damage and speed. Prophet can be implemented for late game campaigns, where you will depend more on cold damage and boosting defense.

Finally, if you wish to change after the end of the campaign, then you can pick Arcanist for mana stacks, or Sentinel for block chance. Pick Defensiveness or Last Stand for increased attack or defense, depending on what your character build is lacking.

    Hero Memory

    • Baptism of Purity
    • Boundless Sanctuary – can be switched to Cleanse Filth for mana stacking
    • Born to Cleanse – pair with Utmost Devotion

    • Start off with Frost Spike or Frostbite for the early game campaign, with Frost Spike switched to Spiral Spike after the first boss.
    • Use Haunt as the main support skill after the second boss.
    • If you are sticking to Frost Spike, can be switched to Freeze Chance also after defeating cannon boss.
    • Treasure Trove #1 – collect and equip Rock Lizard’s Skill
    • Troves need to be reset by using the portal. If doing this, try to claim Lonesome or Pentagram Astrolabe when they appear.
    • Defeating the Dwarf King will unlock Pacts and Boons. Equip Pact Spirits if available, or ignore for now.
    • Unlock Hero Traits from Liv and equip them.
    • Treasure Trove #2 – Pick up Desire of Survival.
    • By now, you should have a second slot unlocked. Equip Biting Cold once available.
    • From level 21 onwards, you will have an additional slot open, so you can add Added Cold Damage if you are still using Frost Spike at this point. Or use Quick Mobility with Spiral Strike if using this skill.
    • Treasure Trove #3 – Pick up Despised Shadow and Scarlet Decree.
    • Treasure Trove #4 – Pick up Silver Frost (Legendary) and also pick up Ownerless boss drop at the end of the zone.
    • Treasure Trove #5 – Pick up Mercurial Torment.
    • Defeat the Lion King to get Hero Memory and unlock Baptism of Purity.
    • Treasure Trove #6 – Pick up Oathkeeper
    • Final boss will drop your last Hero Memory, equip it once you reach level 60
