Once Human Transformation Cookie: How To Get & Use

Once Human, from Starry Studios has proven a hit with gamers thanks to its combination of gameplay mechanics of base building, combat, and exploration. One unique addition to the game is Deviants – which gives the player specific abilities related to either combat or exploration. One such unique Deviant also lets the player transform into any nearby object – and if that is something that sounds interesting; we have put up the detailed Once Human Transformation Cookie guide including how to get and use them in the game.

How To Get The Transformation Cookie In Once Human

    Transformation Cookie Workbench Once Human

The Transformation Cookie; unlike what the name sounds is not something that can be made at a Kitchen Stove; but at a Workbench. To unlock the Transformation Cookie, you first need to get your hands on the Gingerbread House Deviant, put it in the Isolated Securement Unit, and have it produce Cracker Crumbs.

This resource can then be used at a Workbench to produce Transformation Cookies with the following recipe:

    • 8 * Cracker Crumbs
    • 4 * Acid
    • 3 * Glass

How To Get The Gingerbread House Deviant In Once Human.

The Gingerbread House Deviant is obtained on completing the Morphic Decoy quest given by Lowe located at the Greywater Camp.

There is also a chance that the deviant spawns when you destroy one of those Morphic Crates while exploring (these are crates that have blue eyes and fingers surrounding a crate).

However; since those are completely random drops; the guide below covers the only surefire way of getting the Gingerbread House Deviant.

    • Approach Lowe at the Greywater Camp, who is a Deviant enthusiast, to start the quest. He will inform you about the Riverside Souvenirs shop located to the north, and that there have been a series of disappearances there recently. Also, he is quite serious because a few survivors stated that there was an ‘inexplicably large number of stuffed alpacas at the shop.’
    • Head to the marked location which is to the North of the Greywater Camp and take care of the enemies lurking at the entrance.
    • Move inside and proceed to the back of the shop; where you see the Gingerbread House apparently just lying there to be taken. However, as it is easy to imagine, when you click to Interact, you get pulled into the weird alpaca realm that Lowe had warned us about!
    • You then get a clue saying that all these alpacas are just an illusion and only the Gingerbread House is real. Keep an eye out for a large alpaca distinct from the others, and also located at one corner of the shop. Interact with it to get out of the illusion, and the Gingerbread House is now ready to be secured.
    • Speak to Lowe who asks you to place it inside the Securement Unit at your territory, and with that, the Morphic Decoy task is considered completed.

What Is The Transformation Cookie Used For In Once Human

The Transformation Cookie is used to turn into a random item that is located around the player at the time of using the Cookie. Interacting with that item, or using a weapon ends that effect.

The game has several other interesting Deviants that you may want to check out in case you don’t have them already – the Extradimensional Cat which is great to keep around at the base; or the Lonewolf’s Whisper which is one of the best combat deviants in the game.
