Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 4 Shock N’ Awesome has shaken up the gameplay loop completely, introducing new POIs on the map, a huge bug invasion, and new weapons that make quick work of them. To get these incredible new weapons, specifically Exotic weapons, you need to open the O.X.R. Bunkers located all around the map. However, opening these Bunkers will require some grind. Fret not, as this guide will help you open these Bunkers as well as locate them quickly.
How To Open O.X.R Bunkers In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4
The only way to open the O.X.R. Bunkers is by reaching “A” Rank on your O.X.R. meter located to the right of your screen. You’ll come across various Bunkers with the letter “A” in front of their metal doors. To get your O.X.R. Rank to A, all you need to do is play the game. That’s right, killing opponent players, buggy threats, and opening Chests will increase your O.X.R Rank throughout the match.
When you enter a match, your O.X.R. rank starts at C. As you kill enemies, loot Chests and complete Quests, your O.X.R Rank increases. When you’ve reached Rank A, all the O.X.R. Bunkers automatically get marked on your map. Your O.X.R. Rank can go beyond A, up to S+. This becomes even easier when playing with a squad, as the O.X.R. Rank is shared among every party member.
All 4 O.X.R Bunker Locations
There are currently four O.X.R. Bunkers on the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 island, and here’s where you need to go to find each one of them:
- To the North of Shiny Shafts inside the mountain.
- To the South of Utopia City, by the colorful flower field.
- To the Southwest of Foxy Floodgate by a snow-capped mountain.
- To the South of the First Order Base, where the snow ends.
When your O.X.R. Rank is at A, you can visit these locations to open the O.X.R. Bunkers at your leisure. Head to the large metal doors, then be scanned to gain access. It’s not recommended to go to the Bunkers at the very start of a match since there’s simply no other way to get access to them apart from increasing your O.X.R. rank to A.
However, the grind to get your Rank up is worth it, as these Bunkers have a guaranteed Exotic weapon, along with other useful loot such as healing items, shields, Chests, guns, and much more. If you’re looking for Exotic weapons, these Bunkers are the best place to start.
