Domination is one of the tougher and more challenging game modes in Marvel Rivals. In it, your team needs to be the last one standing in the control zone, which can be mighty difficult if you are not prepared for it. Since most Heroes have unique skillsets, getting the right ones with you is the key to succeeding in Domination. There are a handful of heroes who are suited for this task, and in this guide we have put up what we think are the best characters to use in Domination in Marvel Rivals.
Best Marvel Rivals Heroes For Domination
Since playing Domination depends on your skills and strength, you should be on the lookout for heroes who are well-rounded and offer a mix of offensive and defensive skills. That way, you can hold down the fort while also pushing back enemies when they appear. Below are some of the best heroes who fit this criteria.
7. Magik
Magik is a well-rounded hero who can self-heal and dish out plenty of close-range attacks. She can summon demons from her Demon’s Rage ability to take care of all the dirty work, or turn into a demon herself to deal immense damage using her Dark Child Ultimate ability. Besides this, Magik can use portals to zip close to enemies, keeping them back from taking over the base. Her high attack stats and self-healing can keep her on the battlefield for much longer.
6. Namor
Namor’s new HP buff gives him a better chance of survival while in a match. His ranged attacks can deal with targets from afar, keeping them off the control base for good. His Aquatic Dominion ability can summon Monstro Spawns that will take care of targets at close encounters. Namor can also protect himself using his Blessing of the Deep ability and create a shield around him. His ultimate, the Horn of Proteus, summons a Giganto that will nullify all enemies’ mobility temporarily. This will give your team ample time to get up close and personal with their targets.
5. Psylocke
Psylocke’s skill kit is quite interesting but is also challenging to master. But once you get a hang of her abilities, the rest of the match will be a walk in the park. What makes her so unique is the ability to turn stealth and increase her movement speed, which offers better agility than other heroes. She can quickly weave in and out of enemy territory without breaking a sweat and deal immense damage either from afar or at close range. Plus, she can self-heal whenever she sticks her Psionic Shurikens on targets.
4. Bruce Banner/Hulk
A more versatile defense character to add to your team is the Hulk. What makes his kit unique is that he can create a shield around allies and himself that absorbs all damage and converts it into energy. He can also leap upwards and grab any flying hero, dealing immense damage when he slams them down. With his Hulk Smash ultimate, he can quickly transform into Monster Hulk and offer high damage output to all nearby enemies. The Hulk is great to push back enemies from the base and gain control over it.
3. Groot
Groot’s Thornlash Wall and Ironwood Wall abilities can help increase the defense of your team. These walls can be awakened to deal damage to nearby enemies. Plus, with Groot’s long vine arms, he can tackle enemies in the sky and bring them down. He can also use his AoE Spore Bomb attack to cause mini explosions to targets who are a bit further away. Groot can also cage down his targets, giving his team an opportunity to deal damage and eliminate them. With all this, you can bet that your base will be protected at all costs.
2. Luna Snow
While Luna Snow is famed for her healing capabilities, she is also a strategic attacker. Her high mobility and ranged attacks can keep enemies on their toes, and they won’t know what hit them. She can simultaneously heal herself and her allies while dishing out icy projectiles at anyone nearby. Luna Snow can hold her own in a fight while also taking care of her teammates, which is an important aspect while trying to hold down the fort.
1. Jeff the Land Shark
As a Strategist, Jeff does offer to protect and heal his teammates, but he also has several offensive moves that will prove too difficult for enemies to handle. He can go underground and suddenly appear near unsuspecting victims, gulping them down. Jeff also has two unique Team Up Abilities, so you can form your team around those preferences to gain additional damage boosts. Since this baby shark is prone to hiding and using sudden attacks, his moveset is great to confuse targets and deal massive attacks while staying in your lane.
