Schedule I takes you around the sketchy side of Hyland Point, where you are tasked with dealing drugs to some of the locals. As you keep expanding your business, you get to unlock new areas and deal with more customers. But you won’t find all your clients as cooperative as you would have liked, and sometimes you might get into fights. But whether there is something more than beating up clients in Schedule I, this guide will uncover all the details about combat and fighting off your enemies.
How to Fight in Schedule I

Sometimes you might encounter some unruly clients who demand their fix immediately, and if you don’t meet their demands soon, they might come at you. You need to learn how to defend yourself, and luckily the game does provide several weapons for defense. Starting off with the Baseball Bat, which you can get for free at the basketball court beside the Motel, just next to the Fat Dragon Chinese Restaurant. Head north from the Motel to find the court, the Baseball Bat can be found leaning against the metal grates.
After picking it up, you can equip it from your hotbar and swing it using the action key. This is your first line of defense against dangerous customers. Later on, you can head over to the Warehouse after reaching Hoodium V rank, speak to Stan the Weapons Dealer over here to purchase a weapon. He has weapons ranging from frying pans, machetes, and guns, so you can buy a weapon that suits your budget. You can also install weapon mods to get items for free.
Are Weapons Required in Schedule I?

While you do get a large choice of weapons, you might find them unnecessary for now. There is no immediate threat to your business so far, and since there is no hardcore combat, you can make do with just a baseball bat. In the upcoming updates to the game, there might be encounters with the cartel, probably the same ones who burnt down your RV at the start of the game. According to the Schedule I Roadmap page, there is a high chance of cartels being added, as well as a gun and shooting range to spice things up.
Right now, you don’t have to depend too much on arming yourself, and you can focus more on drug peddling, unlocking new clients, and exploring new areas.
