Here in this guide, we are going into the forest of Sukhothai to uncover 24 Ancient Relics in the area. Prepare to undertake a lot of puzzles, hidden paths, and quests to get all of them done.
How To Get All 24 Sukhothai Ancient Relics In Indiana Jones
Some of the Ancient Relics can be found in the open but the majority of them are locked behind side quests and puzzles. We have listed out all the guides to help you solve the puzzles quickly to get to the prize at the end. So put on your hat and the whip by your waist, it’s time to delve deep into the jungles of Sukhothai and hunt down all 24 Ancient Relics in the zone.
Ancient Relic #1
Description: “A curious hand-carved stone object of prehistoric origins“
Location: Northwest of Sukhothai
Head to the northwest on the map, directly above the area titled Watsasi. Here you will come across a wall with a statue in front of you. Head behind the statue to find a hole at the bottom of the wall, crawl through the hole to get to the other side.
- Now head up the stairs on the right and go through the room ahead. Here go down the stairs, through a doorway, then keep heading down the slope.
- You will come across a narrow crack in the wall, squeeze through to get to the other side.
- Immediately turn right, and go through the hole under the rock. Follow the water to come on out on the other side.
- Use your whip on the tree branch at the ceiling to climb on the ledge on the top, and you will find your first Ancient Relic in the Sukhothai region.
Ancient Relic #2
Location: North of Sukhothai
Head north of Sukhothai. Here you will see a room on a platform, but it is surrounded by water. You can’t cross the gap with a single jump.
- Dive into the water and get to the left side of the platform. Get to the end and you will find a climbable ledge on your right.
- Use it to get up and then head into the room to find the Ancient Relic on the floor.
All Hidden Pyramid Ancient Relics
Ancient Relics #3-6
Quest Required: Blessed Pearl (Need to gain access to Hidden Pyramid)
The next four Ancient Relics are found in the Hidden Pyramid. The guide here lays all the relics in order from the entrance of the pyramid to exiting the place.
Ancient Relic #3
Take your boat inside the Hidden Pyramid, and then head to the ruined tower located on the right. You will find the Ancient Relic lying on one of the pillars on the floor.
Ancient Relic #4
It’s a story-related area, and it carries one of the most exciting scenes in the game where Indy gets chased by a giant anaconda! Here you have to swim to avoid the anaconda and make it to safety by completing an underwater section.
- During the underwater section, nearly at the end, you will see sunlight coming through the hole in the ceiling, that’s our way out to the surface. Swim your way to the top, here climb up the ledge.
- Pull out your lighter, as every corner here is filled with darkness. After a bit of walking, you will come across another water section but if you look straight ahead you can see the relic across the water lying on the ledge.
So dive down, swim to the ledge ahead, climb it, and then you can pick up the ledge on the floor.
Ancient Relic #5
Once you make it inside the proper pyramid, in the center you will see a giant stone wall, almost touching the sky. Use your whip on the protruding pipe on the left wall to get across. Now climb on the ledge on your left. Once you make it to the other side, jump on the rectangular columns, submerged in the water, on the right to reach the relic lying on the last column.
Ancient Relic #6
This can be obtained after defeating the anaconda. Here you have to climb the top of the pyramid. The Ancient Relic is located on the ledge, and the way to the ledge is by climbing on the vines. Eventually, you will find the spot ahead of a jumpable chasm. Get on the chasm and jump towards the vines, Indy will grab the vines to get to the top. Here you will find the Ancient Relic on the ground.
Wat Si Sawai Ancient Relics
Ancient Relics #7-9
Quest: The Kid Who Vanished Fieldwork
We are going to uncover three Ancient Relics from the Wat Si Sawai area. Each one of them will be located at a particular spot on the map.
Ancient Relic #7
Make your way to Wat Si Sawai, where you will find a cave entrance covered with tree branches. Get inside, and drop down the hole in the ground to officially enter the cave.
- Keep heading straight, then turn left from the light. The section is fairly linear, so keep moving in a straight direction, going down ladders and you will reach the bottom floor.
- You will be in a fairly large room with some broken statues in the front with a light pointing at it.
- Drop down to your left to land on the stairs. Basically, take the stairs across the statue to enter another room. Here you will have a giant unbroken statue, underneath the statue, you can find an Ancient Relic to take out.
Ancient Relic #8
This Ancient Relic can be found at the Khmer Pipework Puzzle. Have a melee weapon ready because we are going to break a wall down to get this relic.
Here you will encounter a pretty complex puzzle to solve the quest. We have a guide to help you figure out the puzzle to get to the end of the side quest. If you have finished the quest, then continue with the rest of the steps mentioned below.
- From the puzzle area, head down the door down the stairs on your right. There will be a small jug near the stairs for visual cues.
- Now turn left from the brazier, soon you will be in a small room with a brazier in the middle. Here get to the corner on your left and break the wall. Head inside and you will find the Ancient Relic on the floor to your right.
Ancient Relic #9
This one can be obtainable after the spinning clock gear section in Wat Si Sawai.
- Now head to the south of the map. Here you will find a log-made square platform on the ground. Climb onto the platform to get to the upper floor.
- Head through the door on your left and keep heading straight until you reach the end. Here you will find the relic on the floor, next to a Buddha statue.
This concludes all three relics in the Wat Si Sawai underground area.
Ancient Relic #10
Note: You will need Nine Relics to get this one; and in case you don’t have the number, you can always come back here later.
Take the winding river north of the Sukhothai, east of the Hidden Pyramid. You will come across a waterfall.
- Leave the boat, and go through the waterfall. You will find a crack in the wall for us to squeeze through.
- On the side you will find a locked door, on the right side you will see holes in the wall. This is where we insert the Ancient Relics to open the door.
Puzzle: You will need to raise all the nodes in the holes. After inserting the relic in the hole, you can either turn the relic to the left to raise all the adjacent nodes or right to lift all the nodes vertically or horizontally.
To solve this, insert the Relics in the positions shown in the image, and turn each of them to the right. This opens the door on the left, grab the Ancient Relic inside.
Ancient Relic #11
Location: Armory, south of Sukhothai
Head to the armory located south of the map. Once you are inside the armory, make your way east of the region, and get to the edge.
- Here head to the tent near the two trucks surrounded by blue and red barrels. The tent is located behind the half-finished metal house.
- Inside the tent, you will find the Ancient Relic on the desk to your right, next to some pots.

Ancient Relic #12
- Once you make it to the south of Sukhothai, you will see a giant hole in the ground in a courtyard. Drop down the ground and then pass the doorway.
- Once you are in the new area, turn right and climb the ledge. Here use your whip to get across to the stairs on the other side of the ledge.
- Follow the route to arrive in a typical large room. Turn left and use your whip to pull up the floor above.
- Now use your whip again to get to the platform ahead. Here you will find the Ancient Relic on the Floor next to the bones.
Ancient Relic #13
From the last Ancient Relic, drop down from the ledge and start moving to your left. You will arrive in the Burial Chamber.
- From the ledge on the left, use your whip to get across. Turn to your left, you will find another spot to hook your whip. Do it to land on the area in the corner.
You will find the Ancient Relic on rubble on the floor.
Ancient Relic #14
From the last relic, use your whip to go back to the entrance of the Burial Chamber. Now turn right to go back to the room where we found our first Ancient Relic in the Exploration Site.
- Here get to the center, and then take the doorway on the left. Follow the linear route until you spot a doorway in front of you. Here you will find a ledge to its left.
- Use your whip to get down on the floor. Follow the route and eventually your path will be blocked by a large door. To your right, you will find a lever on the wall. Turn the lever to open the gate.
- Keep heading straight and squeeze through a narrow gap to get to the other side. On your left, you can see the Ancient Relic but it’s high on the ground.
- Keep heading straight until you reach the exit, then turn around and jump on the platforms to make your way to the Relic.
All Ancient Relics in Wat Mahathat
Ancient Relic #15
Go down the ladder to the underground. Keep heading straight to another ladder to reach the floor below. Now take the doorway right of the room. Head straight, and pass the puzzle area until you reach the end of the ledge. Use your whip on the branch on the top to lower yourself and then jump on the water. You will find the Ancient Relic on the floor underwater.
Ancient Relic #16
From the last Ancient Relic, get out of the water, and head to the doorway at the end of the room. Pass the area, and get down the stairs. Right at the end of the stairs, look to your right, you will spot a tree branch on the top. Use your whip to jump across to the platform in the corner of the area. Now jump to the platform on the right. Here you will find the Ancient Relic on a rock.
Ancient Relic #17
From the last relic spot, jump on the ledge to your right, and whip back to the stairs. Go through the doorway on the right. Here jump on the rock platform on the left. Use your whip to get across the gap to the platform ahead. Once you land on the platform, look up, and use the whip again to pull yourself up.
Now look to your right, and use the whip again to launch yourself to the platform on the right. On your right, you will find the Ancient Relic on a rock platform at the edge of the room, near the water stream.
