Shin Megami Tensei V : Vengeance is an expanded retelling of the original Shin Megami Tensei V with a new storyline and locations to explore. If you are one of those who have just bought into this game, have progressed a bit and are now looking to respec the protagonists’ stats – we have put up in this guide the full details on how to respec in Shin Megami Tensei V : Vengeance

How To Respec In Shin Megami Tensei V : Vengeance

The protagonist Nahobino can respec in Shin Megami Tensei V : Vengeance by using the New Testament Tablet item. The New Testament Tablet can be obtained on completion of Subquest # 32 – Classified Courier. This quest is obtained from Bethel Researcher and the objective is to hand over a delivery to the researcher in Tokyo Diet Building. Using this item will open up the levelling up screen but with all points returned back for you to allocate the way you want.

Remember, once you have used up the New Testament Tablet; it is removed from your inventory; so be careful at what point do you use it, and what is the stat allocation change that you want the protagonist to have. You can use the demons in your party for defense / offense and to make up for whatever stats are lacking in the protagonist.

Recommended Stat Allocation In Shin Megami Tensei V : Vengeance

I would recommend to focus on Vitality to increase health, and either one of the offense stats of Strength or Magic. Once these two stats have been levelled enough for you to be confident in your survivability and attack power; you can then focus on Agility, and leave Luck for late game.

And that covers everything on how to respec in Shin Megami Tensei V : Vengeance. The game has been receiving good reviews and looks to have significant updates to the classic; and worth trying it out. The game is out now on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
